Expendables II update: Van Damme, Schwarzenegger, Chuck Norris, Stallone

Its shooting right now. Heres the cast, if you can believe it (Confirmed, they're all on set); Sylvester Stallone, Chuck Norris, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis, Terry Crews, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Scott Adkins, Jean Claude Van Damme.

Plot: Van Damme and Bruce Willis (Primary Villains) execute an Expendable (Unknown which one), the Expendables set out for revenge against a Country Van Damme is leading.

Arnold and Bruce will be in full supporting roles this time, not cameos. The budget has been increased. Shooting started recently, continues till December. Only one role hasn't been cast, a big one - the rumor right now is John Travolta.

It's got Stallone so I'll check it out.

The first one had incredibly bad cgi blood and gore effects.

If you're going to make a movie based on blood and gore, you would think they would spend a little bit of money to at least make it look better than a cheap tv show.

I forgot to mention Statham is returning too, full role. The only cameo thus far is Chuck Norris. Apparently its Rourke who gets killed and Van Damme kidnaps his daughter, Van Damme is running a tinpot dictatorship (Fictional Eastern European Country). Van Damme was always gonna be cast, Stallones official forums (Where he responds to fans) were bombarded for around 12 months were demands to cast Van Damme.

The only ones I can think of who are missing: Seagal and Snipes. Seagal isn't cast because he has a horrible reputation and he and the producer hate each other. Snipes is in the joint for tax fraud, but he'll be out by the time the third arrives.

By the way, Taylor Lautner was cast as a sniper for the team. Well, there was UPROAR on Stallones officil forums, then, he was dropped. The same thing happened with the first movie, 50 Cent was cast in Terry Crews role. Uproar, then Sly himself came to post saying he had instead casted Terry Crews.

I actually liked the first one. It was ridiculous, but in a good way.

Just had a great idea. They need to make an action comedy spoof about a group of out of shape middle age ex military guys. Call it the Expandables, stars fat Val Kilmer.

Oh god yes I will see this.

I hope there's more action this time, yeah it sounds crazy but the first film was pretty shy on big action scenes until right at the end, there were only 3 or 4 other little 5 minute scenes.bobbetybob

I find it rather funny how 50 and 60 year olds can kick more ass than any Action star today. :P I wish we had more 80 styles Action movies though, they were just awesome.

Van Damme should've been in the first one instead of Terry Crews. The only thing i've seen him in (apart from the show on tbs) was in the Next Friday movie.F22_King_Raptor

hopefully I will be able to watch the whole movie this time. I've tried many times to watch the expendables, but cant get past the half way point....

The first one was so terrible. Never thought they'd make another.
