I haven't watched many, but Trigun was amazing.

My only choice is between Evangelion, Pokemon, and DBZ. I was recommended Evangelion and it was alright, Pokemon was cool, but DBZ wins.ZumaJones07
This post deeply, deeply saddens me.

Dragonball triology.

No it doesn't; it wasn't even made by Akira Toriyama (the creator of Dragonball). Nothing in GT is canon; it was just a way for TOEI Animation to cash in on the series' popularity.

I agree it really didn't capture the magic of Dragonball (Z).Haibane Renmei, by far. Beautiful soundtrack, beautiful story and beautiful, if not overly flashy, art direction. There's really not a single criticism I have against it and I think it's the only anime I've ever seen that meets that criteria. I also enjoyed Code Geass, more than Death Note actually. Death Note started off excellent, but I just completely lost interest at the halfway point and never quite got around to finishing it.
I'd also say the original Full Metal Alchemist before the story just went wonky. I've heard a lot of people praising Brotherhood but I'm just not feeling it. The story just doesn't seem as fluid, seems too fragmented across too many characters and being only ten episodes from the end, I greatly prefer the original. I accept that I'm in the minority there, though. That and the soundtrack is ridiculously repetitive (I regard game/anime soundtracks highly, so that's a major negative for me).

It's still canon regardless of its quality.

Who said anything about quality? It's not canon because it wasn't made by the creator of the series.
[QUOTE="Morrdecai"]Only one I've really watched is Death Note, which I loved. I've started watching another series call Black Butler which I've been enjoying a lot too (Its the one in my sig).destinhpark
Death note is amazing, took long enough for someone to mention it :P
I agree. Too bad that I posted a little late.
Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood and Death Note. Currently watching Black Lagoon and loving it.
Also, I'm sure once I watch Black Cat that will contest very well as I loved the manga very much.
