I want to start watching One Piece based on the number of people who mentioned it. I just don't want to stop watching after a while since it's over 500 episodes. I don't know why, but I feel something that long won't hold my attention for some reason, and I'll find something else. Is it really worth watching? BTW I've only watched Death Note, Code Geass and FullMetal Alchemist Brotherhood. I doubt any of them are very similar to it.

The 13 ghosts of scooby doo. That was some hardcore anime there. Very profound stuff. Especially with the view into scrappy's schizophrenic personality that we were granted.

Dragon Ball Z.

Vegeta is the best character in any anime 8)

Ergo Proxy. I cannot recommend this enough.(especially if you like deathnote or code geass)

Full Metal Alchemist, Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood. Both are great, and the world while fantasy is still believable with believable character(doesnt happen often in anime)

Hellsing OVA series. Just great story, characters and fight scenes.

Ruroni Kenshin-Reminiscence. One of, if not the only anime that actually made me have an emotional response.

Any Studio Ghibli movie

Some good anime that just started are Deadman Wonderland and Blue exorcist.

Honorable mention: Naruto Shippuden(much better quality than original naruto with less filler episodes)

My least Favorite animes: One piece and Dragon Ball Series(although the manga for Dragon Ball series is ok)

I ordered the complete collection of Fullmetal Alchemist :) should be delivered tomorrow, excited about that.

Kind of shocked about the amount of DBZ posts here... I thought that would be the mainstream "eh" anime, but people seem to like it.

Also, I've heard from many that Naruto Shippuden is better and more enjoyable than the original Naruto. Willing to give that a shot.

By the way, I'm almost done with the Supernatural Anime Series, and I HIGHLY recommend it. It really is fantastic, especially if you're an anime fan.

The entire Dragon Ball series is my favorite anime. I gave Yu Yu Hakusho and Rurouni Kenshin a chance and liked them, I thought they were good. Zatch Bell was also interesting in its production. Naruto is a load of crap, one of the worst anime I have seen in a long while.

Oh, and if there were political positions among anime series, you know Goku would be president, not Vegeta. Unless of course, Goku and Vegeta fused to become Gogeta, or Vegito, depending upon your preference.

And another thing, Dragon Ball GT is not canon, but Akira Toriyama made many of the character designs as well as background scenes like planets and whatnot, but did not have a say in the actual story. It was a great ending, the last episode actually made me cry. I'll never forget laying on my bed watching Goku ride off into the sky sitting on Shenron.

If you haven't seen Bebop, watch it. Then look for the fabled 26th episode. (and marvel at the great music)

If you havent seen Paranoia Agent, watch it. Visit Japan (or read its news). Then have your mind blown.

Shippuden is on a whole other level from the original Naruto.

Between Dragon Ball/Z, Clannad/After Story, Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood and Naruto/Shippuden.

Clannad + After Story. I doubt anything will ever top the After Story for me.Guppy507
