I grew up as a Liverpool kid, then lost interest for a few years, and now I'm just fickle. I'll support any premiership team in Europe as well as my home town, s*** evfen though they are.
I have never ever watched a Soccer game, not because I don't like it, it seems interesting its one of those things where if I can't go in person I will not watch it like baseball and golf. The rare exception to that rule for me is hockey.
When I was a kid my favourite team was Liverpool FC. I don't exactly follow football, but it's either them, or Southampton FC since they're my nearest club.

I don't really have a favorite team because there is no major team within hundreds of miles of me. When the MLS puts an expansion team in Nashville or Atlanta maybe I will get more into it. I pretty much just pull for specific players like Thierry Henry or Ibravimovic.
