Being from Canada, I have to pick this because it's amazing:

SO bad for you, but so good!

... but so bad for you ...

What food do you love but you think looks kinda gross? I know a lot of people think South Asian Cuisine generally looks gross, but it is good (for the most part).

Is it true you can get bagged milk in Canada? If so, that would be my choice - there's something not right about bagged liquids.

yea it is. transparent bags - cheaper than the boxed variety. (I use them pretty much exculsively.)

Most fried foods bathed in liquids and sauces. Good choice with poutine though. And good that you know what proper poutine is (putting shredded cheese and chicken gravy on fries does not poutine make).

[QUOTE="Haziqonfire"]People do that? Crazies.

Outside of Quebec people think poutine means cheese and gravy on fries. Most fast food joints here in Manitoba (this includes a lot of diner-type restaurants as well that use fresh ingredients and make fantastic stuff no less!) just use shredded cheese and a basic gravy (usually chicken stock or vegetable stock based) on thin-cut, single-fried fries and call it "poutine." I'm glad my dad exposed me to the proper poutine at an early age, so I wouldn't be sucked into paying poutine prices for sh*t on fries. Most places period don't even use the right type of fries, so they just go all soggy. It's gross. Though, there was a restaurant called "The Poutinery" that opened in Winnipeg last summer, and I hear they not only make a proper Quebec-style poutine, but numerous variations on it. I haven't been yet (it's expensive and all the way across the city) but friends have said it is outstanding.

"Mega-Gerard" poutine for 8$ for a huge plate with ground beef,hot-dogs and onions,from a restaurant in my hometown.

Best poutine,EVER.

Oh,and check out http://www.mapoutine.ca/ (it's in french tho) :P

Edit: Forgot about this too,we were 4 on this and barely finished it(different kind of saucages and ground beef)

A lot of people look at Guacamole and think it's terrible when it's really great tasting (if made well) and actually not that bad for you. Cincinnati style chilli also isnt for everyone especially the chilli cheese coney's.
