I've considered getting this for multiple reasons:

1. It's not trashy.
2. Simple design
3. And it would mean a lot to me

I'd feel like a hypocrite though, because typically I find band logos like that ridiculous "heartogram" really trashy and shortsighted when it comes to tattoos, but I honestly feel like Radiohead means enough to me to get.

Long story short: Am I being a typical underthinking teen here?

That's how I am. I don't like people who just get a bands logo and such. But for me, getting the celtic knot from the cover of the Discipline album means a lot more to me than just a cool logo that has to do with the band. It was from an album that really made me realize what I wanted to do with my own music (for writing songs) more than any other album probably.

I plan on getting a really detailed circular cletic knot, similar to the one on the cover of the Discipline album.

I also want a dragonfly tatoo, but I think I would regret that one... even though it looks pretty good on it's own without any band association.

Yeah.

I like it both in the design (simple but memorable) and the meaning to me.

I may add something like "Mortigi Tempi" or "Ice Age Coming" beneath it to make it a tad more original.

haha fair enough, its not that important to be original though. chances are someone somewhere is going to have the same or a very similar tattoo. I like the idea of Ice Age Coming underneath it though. Is that a lyric or something?

Yeah, it's from this song.

Which also features their logo shufflin' about.

EDIT: 1:58 for the attention deficit.
