I sort of have to agree with FOX's decision here. King of the Hill barely had humor to it IMO

How much you wanna bet that Fox decided to cancel King of the Hill to make room for The Cleveland Show? It's one thing to cancel a show, but to do it in favor for a spin-off show whose main character wasn't interesting to begin with does kinda blow.

Although King of the Hill was never really a favorite of mine, I did enjoy watching it when there was nothing else on, but the show still had more class than any Seth McFarlane show will ever have.
And damn, the vitirol in this thread is kinda appauling. :( What, did Mike Judge sleep with some of your girlfriends, or what? :|

That is upsetting. King of the Hill was easily better than shows like Family Guy, Futurama, and the new Simpsons episodes. In fact, I would go so far as to say that it has better content than most sitcoms in-general.
Obviously, if you are the kind of person who likes Family Guy, you probably don't like King of the Hill.
It's only better than those shows NOW. None of it is worth watching these days, unfortunately. The early simpsons and futurama blows all else out of the water. That is upsetting. To be fair, King of the Hill is an altogether different beast than those other shows. Although they're all animated, they shouldn't really be compared, because their style of humor is completely different. The aforementioned shows are pretty much nothing but random or shocking humor, whereas King of the Hill has a more sensical humor to it. I also enjoyed the fact that King of the Hill is more of a humble, family orientated show, and it has an actual charm to it, which I think helped it survive as long as it has.
[QUOTE="darkfox101"]Good.. I hated that showPrivate_AdamMe too, I'm happy that they are cancelling.
yea, it sucks.
Except that at times, it more resembled Married with Children than Seventh Heaven. Anyway, that show introduced me to Boggle, which I love with a passion, so it definitely is not all bad. :)I also enjoyed the fact that King of the Hill is more of a humble, family orientated show, and it has an actual charm to it, which I think helped it survive as long as it has.

You know it's funny, when I refreshed this thread, I immediately thought of that Boggle episode!
NooooooooooooooOOOO!
Damn you Fox, that show was a gem!
And for you people that said it was not funny, you just did not get it. It was pure social commentary; it was crtiticism of conservative blue collars with one hand, yet valid point of views from that class of people on the other. It was a subtle humor, but funny none the less.
I will miss you, King of the Hill
Yyyyup.
mrbojangles25I hate when people tell me I don't understand something >_> Why can't I understand something and still not really like it. God dammit.
King of the Hill managed to be somewhat funny without farting and swearing and stuff and the plots were usually pretty good, I enjoyed it, wasn't really a routine watcher of it, though.
Also the initials are pronounced as "KOTH" which is awesome. "KOOOTH!!" :|

easy there bud
i didnt mean it lol. I was justed pissed at 99% of the folks that equate them not getting it to something be bad.
Just because you dont like something, does not mean it is bad.

It's just hypocritical. Though I agree that when what you said happens, it's unfortunate. but, if you don't get it, you don't get it (not you, but general you), so I never saw the point in trying to point out they didn't get it?I think people who say they don't like KOTH just don't understand that type of humour.gamedude2020:evil: I hope you're doing that on purpose. I get it, for God's sakes, I've gone through summers that were just like King of the Hill. lulz
