[QUOTE="gamerchris810"]Well i havent heard of any British troops killing Americains...maybe we should start :DThaSod
That's the kind of attitude Bush is looking for! Wanna sign up for the US army?
Im too young to die!

Apart from the killing american part, i agree with you. British troops dont make fatal mistakes like this!!!
Maybe it's because American troops are more active in the region and they're the only country which have air bases in the region
American or British, this is not about nationality. This is war and these things happen.

Dude Americans have the largest force in ME and the number of AMerican troops in the region is like twice of whole British army
America being the super power has the carriers and most airbases in the region. And being the leader of coalition has the control of air bases in Iraq and most of the pilots
Considering that they(and their navy after that) has the biggest and most advanced air force in the world yes they operate more
And this war is USA's war so they must play the major role.Their allies have troops in the region too but they do most of the work.
Though after screwing Afghanistan they left the place to NATO and now they're doing the same thing to IRaq

in England?
Where do they have air bases and how many pilots and planes do they operate?Or do British pilots use American controlled air bases?
USA is a global supwer power and they have bases in Turkey,Iraq, in Arab countries/except Syria and have carriers in straigh of Hormuz and Medittrenean
The only British base which is close but not close as Americans to Afghanistan is in Cyprus.I don't know if India has given permission to Brits though

I think your feeding info out of your ass...inless your in the army in witch case ill shut up and go and cry :)
mistakes happen. and i feel more sorry for the pilot then the 3 soldiers who lost their lives.
just saying that an American pilot killed 3 British soldiers makes it sound like a really stupid mistake but if you understood how these mistakes happen you would probably feel different (about the pilot atleast).

No I'm not in the army and still have 4-5 years to be conscripted
I'm not feeding info out of my ass, I'm just following the news and know what I'm talking about.
I'm not trying to get into a silly debate with you.You tell me where British bases in the region ar located and I learn. Will you?Because I haven't heard of any.....there can be but I doubt that

America has alot more people in Afghan. and Iraq but most other countries that have forces in the area are contributing in other ways. Australia only has about 250 soldiers in Afghanistan (really rough estimate) but most of them are SAS and Commandos and in Iraq most Aussie soldiers are helping with training the Iraqis, providing security, Intelligence Personel, all the jobs that need more qualified soldiers rather then thousands of and basic Marines. last time i checked Baghdad international airport was run by the RAAF (Royal Australian Air Force)
[QUOTE="Godly_Cure"]Friendly fire is another casualty of war and it occurs from the UK as well.03bscott
When did any british kill any americans, because i would like to know
It would help if you actually read my post dude.
yeah most things behind frontlines are done by others. Most of the operations are done by Americans or with coop with others.
In that case NATO forces in Afghanistan were in Turkish armies command and then Italian and if not mistaken Turkish again.Afghanistan is left to NATO forces while Americans are screwing Iraq now

Well, for one, you could always Google "British Friendly Fire Incidents". Just a thought.Considering that they(and their navy after that) has the biggest and most advanced air force in the world yes they operate more
if they're that advanced whycan't they shoot the right people???
[QUOTE="sentencedoguConsidering that they(and their navy after that) has the biggest and most advanced air force in the world yes they operate more

if they're that advanced whycan't they shoot the right people???
cuz it's called war.if they're that advanced whycan't they shoot the right people???
markop2003
One reason is the coordinates for allies are not known.....and accidents of course occur for another. Sometimes panic....but it all comes down to one thing....humans aren't perfect.

If USA can't no one can
Would Russians shoot the right people?did They ever?(was an example)

Russians killed themselves... well stalin did anyway
Terrible accidents happen , thats the risk with close air support.
As to what British air forces are operating in Afghanistan , the following have or are currently stationed there
846 Naval Air Squadron
3 Regiment Army Air Corps
9 Regiment Army Air Corps
1 Squadron Royal Air Force
4 Squadron Royal Air Force
18 Squadron Royal Air Force
24 Squadron Royal Air Force
27 Squadron Royal Air Force
30 Squadron Royal Air Force
70 Squadron Royal Air Force
47 Squadron Royal Air Force

That doesn't follow. The initial statement was about friendly fire occuring. You post was pointless since war exists.....
