That's kind of creepy. Won't be taking any trips to Australia anytime soon. Rather take my chances with the swine flu.

As a resident of Australia I would like to say that we are combating and baiting them with delicious cake all the while hoping we're not the ones to discover 'Spider Flu'.

Scores of eastern tarantulas, which are known as "bird-eating spiders" and can grow larger than the palm of a man's hand, have begun crawling out from gardens and venturing into public spaces in Bowen, a coastal town about 700 miles northwest of Brisbane.

I think God hates Australia. What more proof do you need than all the huge-ass spiders?:cry:

Well if i was force to move to Australian, i wouldn't nesulcary go and kill every last spider i can find, because they are importment to the eviroment, but i will defend my home

That's not too bad. I remember I saw a spider bigger than my head. Almost like those head hopper in the movie Aliens. The web was across two trees and the I see every single thread clearly. That was rather scary. No one do anything to it because it is in a national park.magicalclick
