Yeah I poke fun of girl gamers here and there in games like call of duty...inbetween my complete and udder-bashing of every other male I come across that i don't like. I'm simply preventing a double standard!FrostyPhantasm

I'm a girl and I have never been heckled or anything. Most guys treat me as an equal and I wouldn't have it any other way. :)

i have yet to actually meet a girl gamer yet in person.. hard to find some, especially here in the Army

I know a fair few girl gamers now, I actually seem to end up collecting teenage girl gamers that adopt me as their mascot / pet or something :|. My wife is a gamer too :D.

I just want to know how many of you are guilty of heckling the girl gamers that you do run into and why? :roll: Is it because some of us girls can beat you at your game? And what is with the whole idea that all girl gamers are fat and ugly? Can't we just be one or the other? lol ;)

I'm happy for you and your girlfriend:D its good to have a bf/gf as a gamer as well. BTW about 90 percent of the girls I play with are skinny and attractive, more so than not.. its just a false stereotype about us.

Screw the sterotypes, but its kinda the same with male gamers, how most are nerdy unattractive, fat, live in moms basement.

I'm a woman gamer. :P I don't really get heckled, I just get hit on. I play a card game as well, and I hate how the guys will do anything to get my attention or make sure I'm comfortable. My boyfriend thinks it's hilarious. But I grew up with four brothers, so I'm a bit different I guess. Most of the guys I see at games stores are shocked to see a gamer that does her hair and wears makeup. I know a lot of them, but apparently they're convinced they don't exist. Hence the drool. :P

I prefer games like the CoDs and Red Faction 2 (is my favorite ^_^), all the way to Fable, all the way to World of Warcraft (yes. Yes I did say WoW. I like it. So what?! Bring it. I hate WoW flamers, really I do. Its a game, stop flamin it.) That being said, yes, variety of games. Am I ugly, fat, or geekish? .. I can say I am not fat, but the ugly and geekiness is in the eye of the beholder, really. I am too punk rock to care if im pretty or ugly really. xhellcatx
