I was reluctant to use this browser being an avid user of Safari/Firefox. I was recommended to it by a friend and wow am I glad I switched up. Its a very nice browser, very fast as well. Clean interface and easy to use.. I urge anyone who hasn't given it a chance to do so.

This leads me to my question, what browser do you use?

Opera. Fastest browser I've ever had, and awesome interface. Still a little issue-y with some websites, though.

I use Opera. Fastest I've used, easily has the best interface of any browser out there, and the most fully featured browser at install.

I don't use Opera because, quite literally, the icon is too repulsive for me. I guess I can't miss what I've never had.

I'm just being honest about something product package designers take advantage of in the real world. It's very simple: if your product doesn't look good, it won't sell as well. It's stupid, and I'm more than willing to admit so, but damn, something about that icon.

Chrome doesn't have nearly the addon support that Firefox has, so it can't replace Firefox for me. The daily builds of Firefox also have good speed and getting better. I actually don't like Chrome's interface because it doesn't integrate well with my system theme(Linux).

I still use Firefox and IE on the side though.

Iron... but essentially, Chrome. I've used all the other browsers, and none of them have compared to me. Chrome is by far my favorite.

What confuses you about i? :s

well, i downloaded it because i was told by several people that it is the fastest web-browser around, but i think it's roughly the same speed as firefox, which isn't slow, but still noticably slower than chrome and iron. Then i activated something called 'opera turbo', but i didn't feel any change at all. This lack of improvement on speed confuses me, especially since i have racked up no amount of history to speak of with it.

Then i figured i'd try and put some pages on speed-dial to see if it would reduce the loading speed, but look at it go.

just keeps loading and loading and loading... Never finishes. Basically, it's giving me a bit of fuss, where chrome has given me zero fuss, and with chrome still being a significantly faster surfing experience, i kinda' gave up on opera.

Edit: Also, when i go from one page to another in a thread, this emerges for slightly under half a second before it loads the actual page i'm going to.

all very charming. :P

I use Chrome and IE. Still a few things that Chrome doesn't do, like automatically scrolling down a page when you reload it, but the ease of search in the url bar is fantastic. Saves sooo much time.

Depends. I usually use Firefox because there are a few add-ons that I really like, plus I really like the theme I use for it. If I ever need to do a quick search or something like that, though, I use Chrome.

Normally I use Firefox, but for some reason there's something wrong with my install so it uses 80% of my CPU at all times. So I'm stuck using Chrome right now (its OK but I miss Adblock Plus)

Though I did try Opera and it seemed great, felt like Chrome copied them alot, but Chrome is still better.

How much time do you really spend typing google.com and then your search term? There's like one jpeg, text and the text box automatically takes focus for you to start typing right away... I mean, I agree its a nice feature and delivers ease of use... but I'm just sitting here thinking to myself "how much time does this person really save by not going to google.com?" 3 seconds? maybe 4?
