But you know just as much as I do there's no way they'll actually give him anywhere near that amount.

Johannson wasn't the only one hacked, the sentence is supposed to be a total of charges from all the people he hacked since he hacked a few other people.

Pretty outrageous considering that if they really did give him the maximum he would probably be dead of old age before he even completed half of it.

The justice system baffles me. Always has done, always will.

Assuming you're talking about people accused of killing their kids the difference between them and this guy is they were tried and acquitted and this guy hasn't been tried yet. For all we know he could be found not guilty or he may take a plea bargain that results in probation and the thanks of millions of men who made Kleenex a fortune in tissue for the past few weeks.

Don't get too dramatic...that 121 years is a combination of all of his charges if he was maxed out consecutively...there are only a few offenses that allow consecutive sentences in Federal Court. Most are concurrent, which means that each day counts as one day for every count for which he's sentenced.

Also, there are advisory guidelines that come into play that give the Judge a range of suggested numbers based on prior criminal record and other variables. These guidelines take into account different statutory factors that Congress has deemed important.

The reality is that he would/could do a few years, then get some extensive supervised released (which is the federal version of parole.)

He hasn't gotten anything yet. And as I understand it he faces such a large amount of time due to multiple charges, not just hers.

I also don't think he should get prison time. But only because he has done the men of the world a great service.
