All of these guys asking for help on girl problems, there isn't anything socially wrong with them, they probably just need to get over the initial fear. You will NOT be laughed at, hell, most girls are nice enough to at least turn you down in a nice way. And if she doesn't, well, it wasn't the girl for you anyways.

I find that most teens my age are afraid to tell anyone if they like a girl. When my friends like someone, I can usually tell, but they keep on denying it, like it would be a horrible truth or something. They probably fear getting judged after asking the girl out, and her possibilty of saying no.

The best way is to talk to a a girl, if you talk to a friend that is female, she will probably be glad to help you.

You don't even have to be that good friends with the girl you like, just talking to her in class/lunch/whenever and getting yourself recognized by her can make a bit of a difference.

Anyone else agree?

What is funny about these threads is how people just take it for granted that the guy should always be the one doing the asking. I would just LOVE to hear the rationale behind that one. I'm pretty sure it must be something like the old circular reasoning standby, "Because that is how it is done."

Best thing to do when asking a girl out is...

1.) Prepare yourself for rejection, it happens to everyone including Mario and Gordon Freeman (assuming he spoke for once)

2.) Pick your moment, dont ask her out when she is surrounded by friends, try and get her on her own. Make sure its appropriate to ask aswell, if she is crying and/or vulnerable in some way its probably best not to take advantage of that.

3.) Zomgwtfbbqsireallylikeyoualotwouldyougooutwithme!?!?!? will only make her think your weird, on medication or both. Pace your speech and dont blurt out rubbish, might be good to choose your words too.

4.) Breathe, i forgot this one when i asked my girlfriend out 4 years ago. She laughed at how red my face went which helped break the ice. Now 4 years later we're still together.

Harsh. Well, it's probably for the best. Someone that blunt and heartless isn't exactly the ideal candidate for a soulmate.

Guys, before you get into any relationship always check for compatability. Just because she is attractive doesn't mean you should be lucky to have her. Relationships are two way. But hey, you live and you learn!

lol, ah, well, I'm just used to rejection and to happiness. I got used to various answers. Some good, some bad, I've just had alot of experience. If they seem uninterested in you, make them laugh. Laughter is usually always a girls weakness, cause then they'll remember you. If you can make them laugh, then you got their attention, then they'll talk to you, and never tell them your name, wait till they ask you. Make it seem like they are more interested in you, then you are in them. Then they'll just pursue you.

And never just walk up to a girl and ask her out on a date, cause if she doesn't really know you well enough she'll just say no. Small talk first, maker her interested in you before you ask her.

I think the major issue is a lack of patience at finding someone worth the time and people rushing into things. Get to know someone a bit before asking them out. You should know a bit about them before even trying at a relationship....

I like how you use mario and the freeman as example we here would understand. Nice touch.

Almost every guy is afraid of rejection. Let me give ya'll an example.

Listen bro, the worst thing that's gonna happen is she'll say no. Unless you use some pick-up line like,

"Hi, my name is Billy will you sit on my face?"

Ladies love guys that are gentlemen. Be very polite, look her in the eye and just be really cool about it. Try not to make it very serious. Somethin like,

"Hey, are you doing anything this weekend?"

Girl:"No, why?"

"Well, I was wandering if you would like to go out and do something."

You can do it. Women love funny guys too. I knew a guy that starting losing his hair at 18. Comedy was the only way he was gonna get the ladies, and sure enough he could do it. He was funny enough to get women to like him.

That's no big deal at all. It's your life. But eventually, I'm sure you and a girl will hook up, and it might be awhile from now. And you're gonna be asking yourself, "Man how did I go this long without having relationships?" That's how awsome it is. I didn't get my first kiss till I was 16 and didn't get laid till I was 19 and I asked myself the same question. Ya'll can do what you want, but if you want my advice, wait to have sex when you're in a serious relationship. I know I sound like your dad right now but just trying to give you some advice. But honestly, there's no rush.

I don't have much of a libidio, I think I could handle going another decade without it. But I'm not very motivated, things have to happen to me by chance, unlike Blood Demon I wouldn't ask a girl if she wants to get a bite to eat... I've NEVER asked a girl, only a few have asked me, I said no though.

Why did you say no to the women that asked you out?

[QUOTE="blooddemon666"]I actually did get laughed at... well not laughed at, but she declined by saying something along the lines of "No, I don't date ugly guys" in front of my entire class.blooddemon666

Safe bet that you weren't interested in her for her personality...

no, that's the thing it was completely unexpected. she was always quiet in class. funny thing is, she wasn't that good looking in the first place

I dunno, they just weren't my type, personality wise really.

Well, something very important for all guys is to experience different women. Because each one is veeeery different except cheerleaders. They're all the same. And don't date cheerleaders fellas. Don't do it. I've dated women that I would never want to date again and I dated women that were aaaaaawsome. I LOVE it when a girl asks me out. Believe it or not, women are just as scared as we are when it comes to asking people out on dates fellas. Next time a girl asks you out, don't pass it up. It dosen't have to get serious and you could always use the experience.
