this is what i have
http://www.amazon.com/Necronomicon-Weird-Tales-Lovecraft-Gollancz/dp/0575081570
its pretty huge and it contains almost all his work, altho some hardcores say a few of his best are missing, it has all the really popular ones, the most popular being " the call of cthulu" of course.
Hmm, I'm probably going to go with an individual novel... I already have one about 900 page book to read (Don Quixote) :P.
all of his stuff is around or under 50 pages, call of cthulu is only about 25 pages for example. Isn't it mainly short stories?[QUOTE="chessmaster1989"]
I read The Martian Chronicles back in middle school and really enjoyed it, but don't really remember it.
Dante's Inferno is fantastic, I'd give it at least a 9.5/10. Purgatorio is great as well, but not as good as Inferno. I'd recommend it if you really enjoy Inferno.
Dark_Knight6
I had to read it for school one summer, along with All Quiet on the Western Front andAnd Then There Were None. I enjoyed both far more than I did Martian Chronicles. Though, that may have had something to do with both having consistent characters and me actually being able to care about them.
And I have the Divine Comedy, so I already have Purgatorio and Paradisio.
AQotWF was great, but I haven't read ATTWN. And, good idea buying them in one volume. I bought Inferno/Purgatorio/Paradiso all separately, lol...
Oh well, enough GS posting, I'm off to start Farenheit 451. :P
Enjoy Inferno! :D

I bought mine from Barnes and Noble. Leather bound, gold-lined pages, and all three books for $20. Fantastic deal, if you ask me.
And enjoy!
such an overrated book series and especially the movies. the latest one was soo boring and stupid teen drama, being 19 even i felt it was soo childish. i cannot imagine how anyone above 15 likes these books / mvoies. compare reading lord of the rings to harry potter and the quality of the literature is night and day.nimatoad2000
Because for people who have lived past their immature and unsure teenage years, these movies are fun and childish. They're certainly not high cinema, but they are enjoyable entertainment.
I've read all the books... unfortunately...chessmaster1989
exactly what i was thinking. To be fair they were ok when i started reading them at 11 but when the last one came out when i was 17 i has just stopped caring
