What the hell does that have to do with what I said? I'm for multiculturalism, not the ethnic cleansing that you keep advocating. It doesn't matter who's mouth it comes from.

All of your arguments are predicated on fear, fear, fear. What's your obsession with fear of the 'other'?

It's strange that only European countries and predominantly White/European countries like the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand have these multiculturalism and "diversity" policies. Where is multiculturalism and "diversity" in, say, East Asia?

**** I don't know nor do I care. That is PETTY and PUERILEas hell for you to think that because they do it over there that it is okay over here in America. We have better laws than that and treat our citizens like HUMAN BEINGS that have RIGHTS. Why should we lower our standards?

That is the stupidest argument that I hear constantly from the anti-immigrant crowd. Next thing you'll be saying is that segregation is good and separate is equal. :|

I believe that you're average harmless muslim does a poor job at differentiating themselves from the extremists. You'd think a lot of muslims would actively make a point out of blacklisting fanatics but at least where I live, there was'nt a shortage of muslims celebrating 9/11 on the streets.

Filthybastrd

I don't see Christians distancing themselves from Christian Extremists, why do they need to do it but Muslims do?

Man the racism in this thread is thick as ****. Talk about closed minds!

The fools in here can't even realize that they are just emulating the extremists they proclaiming aren't welcomed. Persecuting those who are guilty of nothing. Calling for ethnic purity because minority populations are 'on the rise'.

Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt, all check.Goebbels would be proud of you all.

Ultimas_Blade

More people should know that there is no such thing as racial or ethnic purity.

I don't think Europe should deport all non-Europeans, but I definitely think non-European immigration should be heavily regulated and even restricted. Eariler I said almost 50% of London's population was non-European. I was way off. :P Over 30% of London's population is non-European.One-fifth of Manchester's population is non-European and one-third of Birmingham's population is non-European.Over 50% of Amsterdam's children are non-Western and non-Westerners form over one-third of the population. The Dutch are almost a minority in Rotterdam.

Europe needs to cool it with non-European immigration BIG TIME.

I went out if my way to provide these links because I don't want people telling me that I pulled these stats out of my @$$.:P

Again, what do you have to fear from people who abide by the same laws as you do? You're gasping because non-whites are in Europe. That's like me being scared because white people start moving to my island. So the **** what? They bought the land right like I bought mine? They pay taxes like me right? What business is it of mine?

If you think for a second that citizens of non-native decent should be treated like second cla$s citizens you're wrong. Especially, here in my country.

I never said that non-native citizens of Europe should be treated as second-cl@ss citizens. O_O They shouldn't.

Japan and South Korea have strict immigration policies and they don't let hordes of foreigners into their countries. If Japan was over 50% non-Japanese, would Japan be Japan anymore?

Europe should just cool it with the immigration. I'm not saying, "deport all the brown people". I'm saying cool it with immigration. I don't think it would be right if the Japanese or the Koreans were a minority in their own countries, and I don't think it would be right for the English or the French or the Germans to be a minority in their own countries either. Each country should have its own identity. That identity shouldn't be destroyed for the sake of multiculturalism.

If anyone thinks I'm racist for saying this, then they're wrong.

I'm not anti-immigration. And no, segregation and "separate but equal" aren't good. O_O Stop making stupid assumptions. I'm fine with multiculturalism in America and Canada and such because those countries are based and built on immigration. Europe as a continent is not.

Oh, by the way, I'm American.;)

Again you're advocating ethnic purity by saying each country should have it's own identity. That's what Nazis and their like-minded cohortsdo. 'Identity' isn't destroyed by multiculturalism, it's destroyed by those advocating against it.

based on that video, they're not hating muslims, they're hating islam, which is perfectly fine imo.

What about hating, oh say, Christianity?

Biblical Christianity isn't a violent religion like Islam is.

Not to get involved over you discussion as to whether a specific religion is violent or not....but if a religion....and I'm not saying one does or does not....promotes violence then you can say a religion is violent. Just to clarify that I disagree with your opinion. And again....I'm not saying any religion is doing that. I just disagree with this statement in general.

Well, Muhamad was a pedophile, but I can't say that for all muslims.(I am sorry if that fact offends anyone, but the fact is he married a 6 year old girl and had sex with her when she was 9. [QUOTE="CannedWorms"][QUOTE="SolidSnake35"] I wish Scotland, Wales and Ireland were less bitter. Reminds me of how they got mad when Mars Bars had the England flag on for the World Cup. It's silly.. I'd support any country from the UK over the rest.SolidSnake35

Ireland? What country is that? As a Protestant from Northern Ireland I have had no problem with an English flag on a wrapper. I don't know anyone who had a problem with it actually. I think your getting banter confused with bitterness;).

I think it was a problem in Scotland... made the news.

Sorry about omitting that part but they do as well. It's just that I'm danish and while Christianity is our national religion, it's largely disregarded apart from when you actually ask people.

Imagine that... A nation of rather atheist people who think they're religious.

And to be fair, it's not chrisitans sending death threats everywhere when ridiculed. And christians do get ridiculed a hell of a lot, also by me, which I take pride in.

James A. Michener, 'Islam: The Misunderstood Religion' in Reader's Digest (American Edition), May 1955, pp. 68-70:
"Muhammad, the inspired man who founded Islam, was born about A.D. 570 into an Arabian tribe that worshipped idols. Orphaned at birth, he was always particularly solicitous of the poor and needy, the widow and the orphan, the slave and the downtrodden. At twenty he was already a successful businessman, and soon became director of camel caravans for a wealthy widow. When he reached twenty-five, his employer, recognizing his merit, proposed marriage. Even though she was fifteen years older, he married her, and as long as she lived, remained a devoted husband.
"Like almost every major prophet before him, Muhammad fought shy of serving as the transmitter of God's word, sensing his own inadequacy. But the angel commanded 'Read'. So far as we know, Muhammad was unable to read or write, but he began to dictate those inspired words which would soon revolutionize a large segment of the earth: "There is one God."
"In all things Muhammad was profoundly practical. When his beloved son Ibrahim died, an eclipse occurred, and rumors of God's personal condolence quickly arose. Whereupon Muhammad is said to have announced, 'An eclipse is a phenomenon of nature. It is foolish to attribute such things to the death or birth of a human-being.'
"At Muhammad's own death an attempt was made to deify him, but the man who was to become his administrative successor killed the hysteria with one of the noblest speeches in religious history: 'If there are any among you who worshipped Muhammad, he is dead. But if it is God you worshipped, He lives forever.'"

Scholars such as him i dare say are FAR more educated on the matter than you will ever be as your ignorance blinds you

They can share his title of dirty **** if you ask me. I simply loathe religion. Or rather, I loathe religious people's inability to question their faith.

You really don't have to live in this world for long before the options become apparant:

A: God does not exist.

B: God does exist but does'nt care a dime about us and as such should be disregarded.

C: God does exist and does care and this is the scary one. If it does exist and does care, why is the world such a **** place? does the word labrat ring any bells?

A large majority of people picture a brown-skinned person when they think about Muslims. I'm sure a lot of people are anti-Muslim because of that alone, so racism does have a connection, though I'm not saying that people here are racist.

Super_Toad_64

That's all still just words. How much of it is true we'll never know. And how does it affect the reality we live in where painting a picture of said Muhammed is more or less a deadly sin? Sounds like deification to me.

[QUOTE="herpderp9000"][QUOTE="Ninja-Hippo"] ....and why are muslims paedophiles again? :?shroofnayef

Well, Muhamad was a pedophile, but I can't say that for all muslims.(I am sorry if that fact offends anyone, but the fact is he married a 6 year old girl and had sex with her when she was 9. The is the definition of a pedophile in anyone's book.) And the sign said: "Stop the Paedophile Invasion of England" upon review, it didn't even mention Islam. So where are these hateful and racist signs about Islam in the video? Also, how can you be racist towards a religion.

...He married her at nine and waited till she was 15 to have sex with her :|.If youre going to accuse one of the most respectedpeople in Islam to have commited a sinful act as large as that, then at least know some very stright forward facts :?

From the Hadiths: Sahih Bukhari Volume 5, Book 58, Number 236: 'Narrated Hisham's father: Khadija died three years before the Prophet departed to Medina. He stayed there for two years or so and then he married 'Aisha when she was a girl of six years of age, and he consumed that marriage when she was nine years old.'

[QUOTE="gamerguru100"][QUOTE="LJS9502_basic"]Following Islam is not a race and thus being opposed to the religion does make one racist.

RogueShodown

Yeah, I was confused as to why people were calling anti-Muslims racist. :P

A large majority of people picture a brown-skinned person when they think about Muslims. I'm sure a lot of people are anti-Muslim because of that alone, so racism does have a connection, though I'm not saying that people here are racist.

No. First most ME are classified as Caucasian to start with...

But you can find scholoars that will state the opposite as well. I don't think opinion is the way to sway him....

What ignorance? As far as I'm concerned Islam and any religion for that matter has yet to prove itself. It's called faith for a reason. Just because millions of misguided people are brought up to believe in all that hype does'nt mean any of it is true.

And when viewed in contrast to the reality we live in, religion is on the borderline of idiocy. I'll be nice and call it wishfull thinking.

Just wait till I start ranting about my belief in the Spider God of Nexus 5. I won't be taken seriously of course, since they'll know I'm making fun of them but they also won't have a single argument as to why their belief is better than my nonsense.

I don't even care wether or not Muhammed was a pedophile. I just want to know why people insist so hard on believing their religion of choice when they're not even willing to buy a bloody newspaper without some sort of reassurance that they are'nt being ripped off.....

Why do people take religion at face value when they approach nothing else like that? Why even believe when at best the world does nothing to prove any religion and in reality it does plenty to disprove it?
