... the greatest chemistry experiment currently known to us? Like many other planets, Earth is just a huge clump of various chemicals that make up it's mass, the major difference of course being life. Life in itself is some amazing chemistry, but when you factor that into all the other elements of the Earth and how the two forces (biotic and abiotic) interact, it really is like the greatest and most complicated chemistry equation we know of. If someone (somehow) was able to write out ALL of the Earth into a chemical equation... I can't even imagine how big and complicated it would be. In a way I feel incredibly priveleged to see the end result of chemicals just sort of randomly colliding and combining over 4.5 billion years (and many parts of it even earlier than that).

I pity believe that the world just happened to be created by a giant boom where chemicals which didn't exist just collide together to make life  It's stuff like this which proves God's existance

I don't think it's that fantastic. If we were a perfect world with a super abundance of resources that would be fantastic, but with the amount of stars out there and the rate of discovery of new planets, we are really insignificant.

oh but to answer the actual topic. While I have thought about what it was that sparked life, I have not really thought about the whole world as the greatest chemical equation known to mankind nor have I ever felt privileged to be apart of that equation.

i more or less think about it like this,

were spinning on a little mossy rock in a medium sized galaxy in the middle of nowhere...
every couple of hundred thousand years every thing is destroyed and most of all life becomes extinct....
at any moment everything on our planet could be gone in a second due to collision...

and you guys are worried about the next i phone........................

To try and get this ball rolling in the right direction, I'll post some "basic" chemical processes that allow human bodies to function on basic levels.

How about starting with mRNA transcription?

actually as long as you say God had a guiding hand (which also includes creating the laws of science) in putting things in the right place at the right time so it would end up in a certain way (more or less anyway) I'm not sure I see the contradiction. and now I destroyed the original topic

I think it's interesting that the idea of G-d being infinite somehow bothers scientists, but the idea of matter being infinite doesn't bother them in the least.

Matter is infinite? I thought scientists believe in there being a finite amount of matter/energy in the universe.

There is a finite amount, but apparently the only logical conclusion is that it has existed for an infinitely long time.
