They've been stockpiling weapons so it's only a matter of time.
Are you serious? Have we lowered to the point of condemning those who fight for their freedom? The Palestinian's homes were taken by the Israelis and we accuse them of terrorism for wanted their land back? Honestly, the Zionist propaganda has gotten to you guys' head....you know what you don't hear in the news everyday? Israel's mass genocide of the Palestinians, and trust me I've seen some gruesome pictures and videos on multiple websites which trumps the holocaust (how ironic) on disgusting. The Palestinians have every right to fight Israel, just like WE had every right to fight back Britain during the revolutionary war.sacredtext62
I disagreee, resorting to any form of violence shouldn't be necessary. Instead, Palestine should fight with words and not bullets.

Ok makes sense, so we should of fought with words as well against the British and Hitler That's what you are saying correct?I hate how every time you talk about using peace to solve conflicts somebody always uses Hitler as an argument for war. Firstly, we don't know what would've happened if the American Civil war hadn't been fought and secondly we don't know what would've happen if Hitler would've taken control. All we can do is speculate and that doesn't get us anywhere.
Secondly, the war in the middle east has been going on since the 50's and fighting has brought the palestinians nothing but pain. Why should they continue down that road? Do you believe that this struggle has actually amounted to anything? War is never glorious, there's never an "evil" side and a benevolent side because we are in fact all humans.

you seem to forget it was the british who led the removal of the palestinains to make way for the israelis. many tend to forget that, as the jewish peoples were to disorganized and scattered after WW2 & it was britian and several other nations who paved the way for the israeli people.

good point I totally understand what your trying to say and I feel your being a bit to naive, since not every country is the U.S.A where you can supposedly voice your opinion out without much problems. But over there who are these mostly poor palestinians to speak out against the israelis they're homeland is a wasteland and most of them can't even read or write so unfortuanetly the only way they can voice their opinion out is through violence. and these "terrorists" are just fighting in a more organized way. Let me tell you something this fighting will NOT stop until Israels stops neglecting these palestinians and treat them like normal citizens.
Both sides are full of BS and both sides have done horrible things. I don't see how anyone can suport either one.
However you can't just ask millions of Israel citizens to just leave. Even though it was not aquired in a justified manner the fact that people have grown up there and lived their lives means its their's now. You can't just kick them out.
Both sides need to STFU.

It's pretty obvious that if you do not support Israel or criticize Israel then you are anti-semitic.

Yes but...
The problem is that Israel continues to build settlements and it is disingenuous for them to say, "Whoops, we live here now" when they have been asked to cease building. So it is easy to understand the Palestinian's frustration.
There is no doubt in my mind that Israel will continue to build settlements and it will get the point where they know they can argue "You cannot ask all of our citizens to leave!"
What's sad is that the Jewish people experienced a horror that no other group should ever have to face, but there is very little sympathy from Israel to the Palestinians. It's like "Hey, as long as it is not happening to me, it's OK."
Both sides need to STFU.IndigoSunrise
Also true. I cannot find the picture, but there is a picture showing a Palestinian soldier hiding behind a baby carriage and on the other side an Israeli soldier in front of a baby carriage. The implication is that the Palestinians are cowards and will use women and children as shields whereas the Israeli soldier is courageous.
What it does not tell you is that the Israeli soldier will shoot anyway. Both sides are wankers.

I kind of agree. I agree about the zionist propaganda and Israel always being blameless in the eyes of Americans. I also agree that some of the things Israel has done, like the forced seperation of Palestinians by the Israeli wall, are totally disgusting and should not be tolerated by the international community. However, both sides are in a bit of a tight spot. I'd say that fighting proves nothing and maybe if Hezbollah was less militant they'd get more international support. Perhaps that's wishful thinking, though. If anything, I agree that violence accomplishes nothing, but so long as the hardliners in the Israeli government are in control there is not going to be peace in that region.

In every war israel has been in, Israel was always the first to attack why shouldnt these proxy groups re arm? The first 60 years of Israel has been nothing but blood shed and disaster and the Jews of israel are the most racist people you could meet not all of them but most of them are. Right groups of israel actually believe in wiping all arabs out and settlers continue to harass palestinians by taking land and demolishing houses! Why just today israel demolished a house in Arab east jerusalem leaving 53 palestinians without a home. Even now israel talks about attacking iran just for its nuclear accomplishments.

WOuld you care to elaboratesosodatYes. Many wars Israel fought in, where not started by them, many being started by the egyptians, such as the 6 day war(egypt, Syria, and Jordan), and the Yom Kippur war(egyptians and Syria). More recently, the second Lebandon War was started when Hezbollah artillery shells landed in Israel, and two Israeli troops were abducted. The most recent offensive against the Hamas, was retaliation from years of the Hamas shooting rockets at Isreal.

Israel is forcefully settling land that every nation on earth recognizes as belonging to Palestine, what are they supposed to do? What do you think the U.S. would do if the Mexican government started forcing people in New Mexico to move out of their homes? You think it would be, "Oh, it's alright, they need the land." Hell no, they'd force them out with superior military power. The problem is that Palestine doesn't have superior military power, thanks to Israel being buddy-buddy with the U.S. for so long, so they can't do anything except to attack with a missle strike every time the Israelis decide they need another slice of Palestinian land.
And I don't accept the Holocaust as an excuse for Israel to take other countries' land. For one, Nazi Germany perpetrated the Holocaust, not the Palestinians. The Palestinians shouldn't be held accountable for something they had no part in. Second, persecution does not warrant more persecution. That's a completely flawed line of thinking that leads to nothing but an endless cycle of persecution. It's actually pretty disconcerting that a nation of people who know so well what forceful displacement and persecution feel like would turn around and do the same to another group of people.

No ones telling the Palestinians that they cant live in Israel. They just can live peacefully with the Jews in Israel. The Land of Isreal has been sacred since biblical times to Jews. The land was promised to the by god. Israel was then controlled by varios nations. Around 628, Jews were expelled by there "homeland" and the area promised to them by god. By the end of WW2, fleeing Jews were 33% of the Palestine. The land were Isreal is now, was won by the British back in WW1. So, as in History, the conqueror has the power, and the Jews have been on the other end of that stick for centuries. So, in summary, Israel was captured from the Jews by various groups, including the Ottaman Turks. The British then defeated the Ottaman Turks at the end of WW1. The area that is now Israel, was kept by the British, and many Jews immmigrated there before, during, and after WW2. So, the land was taken, the same way it was taken from the Jews, which is through war.[QUOTE="sosodat"]WOuld you care to elaboratebronxxbombersYes. A lot of wars have different names, depending on who you talk to, and what country your in.
In Israel we call it the "second Lebanon war" but it wasn't only Hezbollah's fault, instead of negotiating for our soldiers (Which eventually happened 3 years after the war when the soldiers were already dead) our prime minister and minister of defence had to attack because of their huge ego.
And I also saw that someone has wrote that we are creating a mass genocide on the Palestinians, but it's not true, There's no genocide.
