Hillary vs Trump: Debate 2

This debate was absolutely disgusting.

At first I thought Trump was about to rage quit. He looked so emotional. He did some great jabs at Hillary, but was disruptive about it.

Hillary wants a no fly zone in Syria. Reckless! Russia just warned us that if we were to plan an attack on the Syrian army, that we would have our planes and missiles falling from the sky with their s-300 and s-400 SAMs.

Aleppo boy is propaganda. US does not care about Syria for humanitarian reasons. Just look at Yemen. White phosphorus attacks, bombing hospitals and schools, and children are starving. Weapons that we gave to Saudi Arabia. It's utter BS when Hillary says that that gulf states will help us, when they are the problem in Syria because they have been arming the terrorists that Syria and Russia are fighting.

I felt like this debate just reminded me why I despise these two candidates. Trump is a loose cannon and Hillary shape shifts to pander to her audience. I feel Hillary will go by the status quo and pander to the elite.

We need to look at the bigger picture and how we got in this mess in the first place.

Trump did much better in this debate than first one because he actually landed some blows on Clinton and she had a few bad answers. But the post-debate polls are still showing that Clinton won, so Trump did not do what he needed to.

@Gaming-Planet: The debate was disgusting, but that was Trumps fault. The dude is failing so hard he keeps bringing up old news that's done been discussed countlessly.

He pandered to his base after Pence left them out to dry, but I feel this just countered everything Pence did for him.

Now his base will be happy, but the American people have to suffer his bullshat lies again.

@Gaming-Planet: I agree about the foreign policy thing. The military industrial complex is out of hand, and pushing war in places we didn't even knew they exist. Trump at least calls the BS on it, and asks why we are even there in the first place. We create wars just to sell weapons and keep the industry going. Hilary will likely continue the status quo. Trump will probably do the same, but as someone who is filthy rich he probably doesn't care what "other rich people" think in the first place.

Trump should be disqualified just for saying as President he would go after his political opponents + disavowing his own running mate. What a joke he is.

Trump represents everything wrong with our culture and Hillary represents everything wrong with our government.

@Gaming-Planet: I disagree, I think Hillary represents compromise. Which is a strong point of our government. You can't force things in life. Life is about compromising and coming together. Something Trump has no clue about.

I don't usually agree with you, but this is actually a fair statement. I don't necessarily agree that Hillary represents everything wrong with our government, but I don't think she embodies what people dislike about politicians, so in that sense I don't think you're that far off the mark.

I never liked Pence. Hope he does drop out. Newt should've been the VP pick from the start.

I do think that Trump gave his supporters much to be excited about tonight (he landed some blows on Clinton for sure), but I don't know if it's a great look to be this celebratory about him after that tape leaked.

@Ish_basic: SNL predicted it pretty well. In it Trump was praising Pence. Then the news anchor said he disagreed with him on an issue and Trump distroyed him. Trump was like, fack Pence.

Honestly at this point, I dislike both candidates. Tonight wasn't about how to run the country. It's about who can prove who is the worse human being. I vote for a reset.

A reset would be nice, yes. This election is horrifying. But still, if we're measuring tonight on who looked like a worse human being, it's Trump. But he was quite effective at times. Hillary's Lincoln answer was pretty bad.

The bigger picture is that Trump needed to change the trajectory of this race. All Clinton has to do at this point is run out the clock.

I'd say Hillary is worse, but honestly, not to steal south parks thunder, we're comparing a douche to a turd sandwich. The bar isn't actually that high to begin with.

But the only way Pence is worse than Trump is on social policy. Trump bragged about sexual assault. That automatically makes Pence better.

People saying Trump did "well" ...minus the blatant lying, bring up Bill Clinton's infidelities, not really answering any questions on how he actually plans to fix anything, not seeming sympathetic at all about being a presidential candidate that boasts about sexually assaulting women, and being a presidential candidate who said he will imprison his opponent should he be elected. He also called out his VP as being wrong or mistaken during the debate.

It's not just me saying that his comments constitute sexual assault. Even Rudy Guiliani, one of Trump's most fervent surrogates, admits that his comments constituted sexual assault. Why would one of his biggest defenders and a good friend of him admit this? Is Guiliani a SJW?

Trump had simply awful body language the entire debate. He was lurking behind Hillary like he was playing Frankenstein in a B movie from the 1950's. It was rather disturbing.

Very revealing to is that he didn't answer Andersons question if he had sexually assaulted a women like he bragged about doing. Forget putting Hillary in jail, I think Hillary needs to appoint a special prosecutor to look into his past. I'm sure a few women would come forward.

Trump's ex-wife gave a sworn deposition that she was raped by Donald. Although, you can't rape your wife I can't imagine putting a spouse in that sort of position.

I just finished watching, and I'm sad to say that I felt like Trump won this debate. Hillary had poor answers for the info that came out over the weekend via wikileaks, and Trump clearly nailed a couple of zingers regarding emails based on audience reaction. And yes unfortunately in a debate about what policies each candidate will pursue to lead the country *sigh* zingers matter a lot.

I'm happy to read though that post debate polls disagree with my assessment.

If you take unproven accusations of rape to be true at face value, you have to do the same for Trump. His ex-wife accused him of rape and there's currently a lawsuit alleging that Trump raped a 13 year old at a party.

The victims were present in the crowd tonight. You continuing to defend Hillary only continues to expose what kind of sick person you are. Go talk to the woman who was raped as a 12 year old and had her life ruined because Hillary Clinton helped him get off. Go talk to the women who Bill raped and then were attacked by Hillary.

1) Guiliani said that what Trump said constitutes sexual assault. Guiliani is one of Trump's biggest fans. Is he a SWJ?

2) If you believe that Bill Clinton raped those women based merely accusations, why don't you also believe that Trump raped his wife and the woman that filed a lawsuit against them? Unless you have evidence that Bill Clinton raped them, the fact that they were in the audience is immaterial. In the US, people are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
