Here are my thoughts on smoking anything.

Cigarettes - very pointless. You inhale nicotine and messed up chemicals to get light headed and feel good for about 10 minutes or so, which goes away over time and just becomes you sucking smoke and blowing it. Unhealthy reasons aside, its got no real appeal other than scratching an itch you made.

Cigars - somewhat okay... see, you don't inhale the smoke which means you don't get the carbon monoxide, so your lungs are fine, but your mouth isn't. Its flavoured fermented smoke that has a taste that is good to those who have aqquired it. Its still pretty unhealthy, but not anywhere as unhealthy as fast food eating, which isn't too commonly looked down upon. But if that's a sacrafice for flavour you'd like to make, then go for it.

Marijuana - This is something worth smoking. It doesn't have all the harmful chemicals from what cigarettes have, but unlike cigars it is inhaled. So you pretty much just get carbon monoxide with THC. The THC goes into the bloodstream and into your brain and unlocks the "rewards" portion of your brain and you feel really good about everything. You get that feeling you get when you find money or come home to a really good meal or something, but its on everything, even the mundane. Video games and movies become more of an art form. You think more intricately. Food tastes WAY better. And you can even ingest it without smoking it (if you have a vaporizor or eat it with cannibutter or something). Excellent way to wind down a night if you ask me.

That's a good laugh. Inhaling smoke deliberately into your lungs has nothing to do with abuse, it is outright unhealthy. One cigarette a day or ten, damage is still being done. My uncle died of lung cancer at 42 after a tumor ate through his spinal cord and paralyzed him from the nipples down, and he was a light smoker (three a day).

To the TC: I'm happy for you. If you are content with the possibility ofsounding like Stephen Hawkingat some point, then by all means knock yourself out.....I'm sure the chicks dig guys who sound like robots.
