[QUOTE="Rekunta"][QUOTE="MrGeezer"][QUOTE="Rekunta"][QUOTE="MrGeezer"] [QUOTE="ConManWithGun"]smoking is so awesome, I just love the idea of having yellow teeth, bad breath, and increased chances of cancer :)MrGeezer
That stuff only happens if you abuse it.
That's a good laugh. Inhaling smoke deliberately into your lungs has nothing to do with abuse, it is outright unhealthy. One cigarette a day or ten, damage is still being done. My uncle died of lung cancer at 42 after a tumor ate through his spinal cord and paralyzed him from the nipples down, and he was a light smoker (three a day).
Are you a smoker by chance?
To the TC: I'm happy for you. If you are content with the possibility ofsounding like Stephen Hawkingat some point, then by all means knock yourself out.....I'm sure the chicks dig guys who sound like robots.
You call three a day "light"?
Hey, BTW, I'm a light drinker. I only drink a six pack every night.
Compared to five or six packs a day? Absolutely.......same with a six pack in comparison to very heavy drinkers.
I see. As long as someone else drinks more, then the homeless drunk bum who wanders up and down my street is a light drinker.
Whatever dude. Compared to someone who only smokes one cigarette a month (or not at all), three cigarettes a day is heavy. That's multiple doses of the drug on a daily basis. You think that's actually light smoking just because some people smoke more?
Of course it is, how can it not be? Is someone who smokes one cigarette a month as opposed to four packs a day a relatively light smoker in comparison? You have to compare to others to determine what is considered heavy usage and what is not. How do you determine otherwise? It's all relative.
As to the bum walking up your street, that is a completely overly simplified example to try to prove your point. Try to include social, economic and other factors that play into your example, as drinking alone is not indicative of anything other than the amount that is consumed. Correlation is not necessarily causation.
