How Do Go About It When a Girl Asks You Out That You Don't Like?

I have a tendency to get asked out by girls that I really don't want to go out with wether it's be because i find them unattractive or I just know that i wouldn't get along with them :roll:. And Every Time I do the same thing, I tell them that I'm gay :| I'm not gay and I'm not joking. It's the only thing I can think of that would get me out of this jam without hurting the girls feelings. Suprsingly it never affects my social life though. I continue to go out with girls and it never gets brought up by the chick that asked me out previously (Either she's to unintelligent to notice that i'm dating a girl or the girls from another town and the girl that asked me outs never finds out). So I was wondering how you get out of situations like that when a girl asks you out that you don't wanna go out with?

Slap her in the face and tell her she's fat and ugly and that you wouldn't dream of touching her with a barge poll.

Interested in hearing people's responses, too. It's really hard to have to let someone down like that.

I've only been asked out once and I said, "Sorry but I'm not ready for a relationship right now." Its all I could think of. She got the hint though.

Say no. Don't make yourself go out with someone who you don't like, that's even crueler. I don't know, say "Sorry, no I'm not looking for a girlfriend" or we can be friends or some lame-o line like that. It's better than NO.

I'm in this exact same situation. I'm simply not attracted to her in any way shape or form. I work with her, so that makes it even more awkward. I want to find a girlfriend, but she's not what I'm looking for and I just don't know what to say to her. If she ever actually comes forward with an offer or something I'm just gonna have to tell her whats up. I'll just say I don't think there's anything between us and say I'd still like to be her friend. She's fine to talk to but I'm just not interested.

I seldom ever have a random male approach me and make a move, it's usually one of my companions that I've known for a while that does so. Normally I'd just express to them that I'm not interested, but I appreciate the gesture and then go back to being friends. Unfortunately, I'm not that smooth and I usually end up saying something foolish :(

It's easier to let a stranger down, it's much harder to do so to a close friend.

A girl did ask me out once. I just let her down gently trying to be as sweet as possible. She reactd OK to it and we're still friends so it's an alright approach I guess.

I had this problem quite a few times, I just tell them straight up I'm not looking for a relationship right now, however this one instance a girl wouldn't let up! She still randomly hits me up on facebook, I just talk for a while and then log off. So yeah I'd say just be more straight forward and tell them you either don't want to be in a relationship or if telling them your gay still works, go with it.

People don't really approach me...ever. Not much of an issue for me, sorry for the lack of help TC.rawsavon

That **** used to happen all the time when I was working at a coffee shop.

You can usually sense when that may be coming up, and that's your chance to subtly convey that you're not interested in her.
But if it gets to that point,and if you're not in a relationship at the time, just lie and say that you're seeing someone.

I don't usually lie to folks, about anything really, but that's one fib that's just nice for the other person's benefit.

First off i would be amazed if a girl asked me out.

Lastly... i cant think of anything else, i would still be amazed a girl actually took the time and effort to say something to me.

Actually, I think your first mistake was telling any girl you were gay Some girls just want to try and change a man.
