384 artists, 4230 songs, 30GB, with about another fifty albums not on my computer laying around my house.
[QUOTE="mexicangordo"]As for me, I don't download music at all, thus I don't own a itunes or any other media player (but I really should since Im running out of room) I counted my albums in the begining of this year and I had over 200, I think the exact number was 243 or something around their. I would say now i have around 270. But all of the albums are in their original format, no downloads or burnt copies and I am very proud of supporting the artist that I enjoy. :)Darth-CaedusYou don't even rip your music to your computer? :o No, never. But I should have some media player because going through albums is a huge chore but its well worth it.

Just one Smashing Pumpkins album? Im guessing its Siamese Dream right? But I honestly thought you would have more. You seem like a avid fan. :PNah Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness won me over due to some special -for me- songs it contains. :P[QUOTE="mexicangordo"]
[QUOTE="Teenaged"]
My collection is quite small.
18 albums total.
15 are Scorpions albums.
2 albums are The Soundtrack of the Lord of the Rings. I have the complete "normal" soundtrack and the Complete Recordings of the Fellowship of the Ring.
And then finally I have one Smashing Pumpkins album which I bought just today.
Teenaged
So I bought that.
I made a blog about it; its the most recent one.
Would it be any trouble if you commented? :D
I just want your insight on something I asked in the blog.

Thus I have a grudge to not do such a thing. Not only that but I HATE pirating music. I won't judge those who do it, but being a musician myself. I have around 400CD's, 70 or so albums on my hard drive and the same amount on vinyl (I used to have a lot more vinyl, however I regrettably sold it to fund weekend activities when I was younger). Also own about 250 12''s from when I used to DJ a bit in the earlier 90's... Need to clear a lot of that out though...
EDIT: Thinking about it I still have around 50 or so albums on cassette, as well as many many DJ mixes from the early to mid 90's. They're probably all warped these days though : (

Refraining yourself from uploading your music that you bought to YOUR computer which is legal isn't going to change anything or affect anything, if something happens to any of your CDs it would be a good idea for you to have a backup file on your computer. I can understand why you're Boycotting against digital music formats and iPods/mp3 players. (although I love the latter because they allow me to listen to my music anywhere and without disturbing others)[QUOTE="Darth-Caedus"][QUOTE="mexicangordo"] No, never. I have about 400 less song, but I only have half the number of artists. :o
Surprising only like 646 tracks, I'm sure if I actually had some other means of acquiring music besides generous rapidshare pirates it would be much larger.

grrr :x do you have a zune account?Yeah, same username as here. It's in the upper right corner of my pic. :P
Right now I'm at 84 albums, 3 days, 7.94 GB. Always expanding though. I'd say that's a lot even though it's quite moderate compared to other people on here, but I think the funny thing is that I always feel tired of the music that I have and I'm just looking for more.

I think you have to do by signing at zune.net. i dont reallly use the social feature much either, but the zune badges look pretty awesome.Oh geez. I was looking at my Zune social thing, saw 1846 plays of Porcupine Tree, and was thinking that it wasn't as much as I was expecting. Then I saw that my 2nd most played artist was also Porcupine Tree for some reason, and it had 770 plays. :| That's A LOT of Porcupine Tree.
EDIT: Oh Gawd! My top played song is Caramelldansen.
Name get misspelled on one of them or something?:? I'm not surprised by that playcount:POh geez. If we are going solely by CDs, then I have about 44 or so:PI don't consider mp3's a "collection", so I won't go with how many GBs of music I have. My CD collection is coming together pretty well though, I have around 140 of them.

I should have said it another way though. If you buy your music in digital format, I think it should count as being in your "collection", but most of the time, the vast majority of a hard drive's music tracks are pirated...

Probably around 50 or so CDs, but I'm going to inherit my parents' huge record collection someday hopefully. Now that CDs are so cheap on Amazon, I'm going to start buying all the ones I've wanted over the years.Wet_Sand
They really aren't that cheap... they're still about 18 dollars.
