You think U2 is weird.... wait until I add my Blue Man Group CD :oOblivionfan10
I mostly rip my dad's albums on the computer:P. I don't know how to check how many hours on just my playlist in Itunes so I just know I've got 428 songs with a couple of ordered albums that I'm waiting for.
[QUOTE="Oblivionfan10"]You think U2 is weird.... wait until I add my Blue Man Group CD :oDarth-CaedusNever would have thought you listened to that stuff...:P
At least his top played song isn't Caramelldansen. And he's not currently listening to this like I am.
Wait until after Christmas. I asked for some Spock's Beard, Porcupine Tree, Transatlantic, Liquid Tension Experiment, and some more Dream Theater (because my collection is missing 2 of their CDs)Oblivionfan10
Good choices... So how did you like Transatlantic's 77 minute epic? Personally, I got about 30 minutes in and was bored of it. D:
What does pirating music have to do with anything? O.o I got carried away rambling on, it just has to do with mp3 and ipods in general since more people steal their music rather than buying it especially when using ipods and such. Using an mp3 or and ipod (to me) represents me conforming to what I don't believe in. :P I used to not believe in downloading music, until I had 200 CD's stolen from me, I feel that act gave me a free pass. Now I have about 7000 songs in my library. If I am DL'ing music I have already bought once I don't feel as bad.[QUOTE="Darth-Caedus"][QUOTE="mexicangordo"] Well, I work in the music industry, so I know first hand what the ipod/mp3 generation has done to it. Thus I have a grudge to not do such a thing. Not only that but I HATE pirating music. I won't judge those who do it, but being a musician myself. I know how much time and effort it takes to record something and for its value to be nothing is extremely frustrating.

This thread is pages long and this has probably been mentioned a ton of times, but I spy with my little eye, some foul language :o70 Artists, 129 albums, 1281 songs

EDIT: I don't think it has been mentioned that is says **** in his SHARED folder
I think I would die if I was limited to only one album.I only have one album.
And it's all I'll ever need.

How can you survive with only one album? :?
Especially if it's only Led Zeppelin III.

Well, regardless of the band, I couldn't survive with only one album. And, yes, I agree that it's not their best. :P

I haven't listened to it yet. I am looking forward to showcasing a 77 minute song on my iPod though :PEspecially when it is only a Led Zeppelin album :P (And not even their best D: ) It's my favourite album from them. My favourite song is Gallow's pole.[QUOTE="chessmaster1989"]

I do own an MP3 ( I never use it )that has about 150 songs on it. But Led Zeppelin 3 is the only CD I have.
Same.:P (Well, MAYBE I could survive on This Godless Endeavor....but I would still feel depressed from a lack of variety after awhile.)Well, regardless of the band, I couldn't survive with only one album. And, yes, I agree that it's not their best. :P

To Guppy: Concerning Transatlantic: I am surprised that Portnoy doesn't do any growling vocals :P Oblivionfan10
I'm rather glad he doesn't. :P
I should check out the other Transatlantic CD's. The Whirlwind didn't leave me with that great of an impression, unfortunatly.

If there was good variety in those 150 songs, I could deal with it for a while.
Do you guys put the artwork for the albums in on your own on iTunes? Because every time I rip a new CD it doesn't show the artwork. And I like having the artwork :(

Zune software does it for you. ;)
But yes, in my iTunes days, you have to manually put in the artwork, unless you buy it from the iTunes store.

Duel With The Devil off of Bridge Across Forever is really good. That entire album is great.6 days of music, 67 artists, 184 albums, and 12 GB. Not on this laptop that SHOULD be though is my 4 Amon Amarth CD's I bought about a month ago...don't ask why I haven't uploaded them yet, but it's on my to do list. Hell, I even put World Painted Blood by Slayer on first...
Yeah, just copy the artwork to your clipboard, select all the items from the album, and past the artwork into the box for it.Do you guys put the artwork for the albums in on your own on iTunes? Because every time I rip a new CD it doesn't show the artwork. And I like having the artwork :(

Itunes does that as well, so long as you have a store account you can have it automatically download missing artwork (Tends to be unreliable though) or just right click>get album artwork (Also doesn't work all the time...)Zune software does it for you. ;)

*downloading legally via zune pass.* I don't want to be modded for illegal activities or anything. :P

I found it easier to do myself though. I got some really odd pictures for some albums I had when I did the Get album artwork thing. :?

Size doesn't matter, just use Google images and paste it in. It's been so long for me though, I don't remember where you paste the image. :?
