listen, if you like the girl and want to ask her out, you're supposed to ask her out, shes not suppose to ask you out, it doesn't work that way, its the same with a guy asking a girl to marry him. the girl isn't supposed to get down and propose to you.....

I do the rejecting!

Asking them out is rather easy once you've had some contact first, just ask it casually. Many times a girl I liked I simply asked out as we saw eachother in passing. Well not so much asking out as saying something along the lines of: "You look like you might be fun to go on a date with" if she is somewhat attracted she will either tease or ask when. When they tease, don't back down, but don't go any further than that you just -think- it -might be- fun to go out with her. There's alot more theory behind it but I figure you guys probably wouldn't succesfully pull-off seduction, so why bother.

As for the failure rate, it's rather low, I've been on many dates with many different women, but I'm also rather picky (which adds to the success rate in more way than one). A last tip: Don't be a nice guy.

One sub-topic I even forgot to cover: Rejection.

In the case of rejection, I usually don't even shrug my shoulders. I don't care, and I definitly won't ever take it personally. I'll just try again on someone else. Ask all the big shot ceo's, all the succesful people. They have all had many rejections in their life on all sorts of issues. They didn't care, they'd just go somewhere else. There are always more fish in the sea.

Once...sort of. I asked for this girl's phone number in high school, she was trying to get me to talk to her more in order to get it. I didn't want to put in the effort, so I never got it. She was hot though...just not worth the time to talk to cuz she was kind of a *****.

I don't think he's wrong for not asking out random girls. I think he could have made his move much sooner. It sounds to me like he's always waiting for mutual attraction, great, if you're willing to spend much time waiting on such 'accidents'. It's much quicker to just wait and figure out until you know enough about whether she'll be a fun date or not. Also, it perfectly illustrates fear of rejection.

No, you don't have to wait for that. In fact, I found a woman I wanted to be in a relationship with recently, and am in this relationship now. I treated her like the girls I only wish to have intercourse with. I just felt she was good for more than just a sexual relationship. When I was single, I was looking for a girl like her but I also enjoy sex. So why would I deny myself sex with women I find attractive? Finally, just because a girl likes you before any dates, doesn't mean she likes you more than a girl that has fallen in love with you during the dating process.

Quite often buddy, quite often... Then again, I'm 23 and I work as a nurse so the people I hang around are most probably very different from most people's friends here!
