How many trys did it take you to get your learners permit then drivers license

got my permit on my first try and got my license on my first try:)

One try for learner's permit and driver's license.

permit ... 2 tries
license ... 1 time

Permit - 2 times. I failed the eye exam after my glasses had broken earlier in the day but got a perfect on the written.

Driver - 1 time. Perfect on both written and road tests. Luckily I can see without glasses now.

Just took once for both... i was born a car guy 8)

hell YES DRIVING IS AWESOOOOOME. And hermes invented driving.

One try each. To get the permit required little more knowledge than what a stop sign means. For my license, a five minute drive without killing anyone. Both tests were absurdly easy to the point where I wonder why they were instituted to begin with.

First try permit, second try license.

I failed because I had that stereotypical rude middle-aged woman with a cigarette in her mouth and a heavy smoker's voice as my instructor, and she didn't give me the correct directions. When I ended up going to where she wanted me to go, I was in such a bad position for parallel parking that there was no way it would've been possible to do properly. The next time (I went to the same place) I got a guy who knew what he was doing, and it was not a problem at all. I was given the correct directions and he was very calm about the whole thing.

It took me 2 times to pass my permit test but I passed the driving test first try.

Never got a permit. I just waited untill I was 18 to get my license, got it on the first try too. Iwas just never in a rush to drive as I didn't have a car. Kinda pointless to get one with no car to drive.

How long is the driving test, is it for an hour or so. I don't know why but I might get nervous if it is a long test.

If an hour or so makes you nervous, never try to get your pilot's license, that was two hours for the practical test. :o

Twice on learner's, because I didn't read the book and it asked specific questions. First try on driver's license.

Airline pilots get chicks, I would just think of boning a stewardes while I took the test.
