How many trys did it take you to get your learners permit then drivers license

This comes from that locked thread.Anyway I got my permit on my first try, hopefully lightning strikes twice.

Nailed them both first time, and both were very easy. I am a little scared of anyone that fails the driving part.

Took the test, aced it. Took me 3 tries for the Drivers.

Test was easy. I failed the practical even though the only two negatives I got were: Looked at the stick shift while sitting at a red light and shifting was jerky. First one I have no idea why that's a problem. Second is because my car is a tremendous piece of crap and even now I can't get it to shift without being jerky, neither can my dad who used to be a professional Indy car driver. I didn't flub anything else. Second time I just took an automatic and passed without any issue.

Learners permit took me one try and my license took me 2 tries because the first lady I got was really nasty and just wanted to rush it. That was years ago though and have been driving happily ever since.
