How should Rapists be punished?

So OT, how do you think we should deal with rapists?

Is their crime even more terrible if they gang raped some1?

What about if they got the rape victim pregnant?

or even gave them AIDS or some other disease or completely made the victim a traumatised wreck?

Is some rape acts more severe than others or are all just as bad as the other?

I think all serious crimes should be dealt with with execution.

Atleast until they make an attempt to actually use rehabilitation, which will probably never actually happen.

Put a rapist in dark cold cell with nothing to but fantasize for a few years. Probably a good call.

I know rape is bad but it's not worth executing somebody over. Maybe if the rapist murdered the girls he was doing it to but if he's just raping them and letting them go then he doesn't deserve to be executed. I'd say 20 years without parole would be the better option.

We should do whatever statistically prevents rape. Obviously execution and the punishment-based system doesn't work.

I'd say physical castration but, surely, someone will say too harsh.

Course, that would not entirely absolutely remove harsher retaliation by the raper in other forms onto new victims.

I mean i'd say that rehab would be great, people addicted to alcohol seems to go there, i can't see why not rapists

Well, considering the fact that it's easier to rape a woman, instead of tyring to get with her the normal way, rape is the most viable way of spreading your genes from an evolutionary standpoint.

Letting that supposed disorder escalate to the point of losing self-control is potentially harmful to others; it should be punished if they act on that. That's not to say rehabilitation isn't an option, but there needs to be consequences for such serious crimes.

Im pretty sure just a standard prison sentence would cover the raping part for any rapist ;)
