No, I don't like it that way. I just have no social abilities so I can't start a conversation with anyone if I were to do "small talk".

It's like anything: The more experience you have, the better you'll be at it. But if you don't start doing it, you're going to have no experience doing it the rest of your life, and nothing will ever change.
I'm not kidding when I say you can't develop social skills without learning to small talk. Everything else comes after learning to strike up a conversation with someone, whether you know them or not.
I was socially awkward myself, and rather shy to boot, until I got tired of not having a girl and just got on with it. Yeah, I was uncomfortable at first and made a few blunders, but then I knew what not to do and just kept at it.
I don't have trouble talking to anyone now, male or female, and my life is richer for it. I know so many people with so many different interests that I'm only bored when I want to be.
I have had girlfriends, I've been married, I have a girlfriend now, and all those relationships started with small talk. Every one.
