how to convince my mom to let me get grand theft auto.

alright i knew it was going to be difficult. today my dad brings up the topic of gta4 to the dinner table. my mom gets pissed and starts babbling on how the game is horrible. my dad thinks it is an ok game and it is a phenomenon. i told my mom that im not stupid and im not going around shooting people.

What should i do to convince her

it appears that your dad doesnt mind the game, so go that way, talk to him and see if he will get you it, if he does dont get caught, but if you do, use the its my friend's game so she hopefully wont break it

Am i the only adult here that think there is nothing wrong with a 14 years old playing GTA ? :| There is no more violence and sexual contents than in most american movies, and it's not like at that age you can't tell the difference between a game and reality, he isn't going to get traumatised or get psychotic and kill people because he plays GTA.
