If I had a son who turns out gay then I would still love my child just as always. The only thing I would hope for from him and his partner is that instead of adoption, they could use my sons sperm and find a surrogate to give birth to their child and my grandchild. I wouldn't force it, just suggest it. I would like to keep the legacy going, that is assuming they want a child (and hopefully they do).

that wouldn't matter as he would presumably have two loving parents. it's always possible for him to know of his biological mother.

I wouldn't care. If he's happy then I'd be fine with it, wouldn't really effect me. Always good that he couldn't get some girl pregnant.
