Besides, if religion threads are banned, how else can I get a "hot" topic with 100+ replies. :(the_foreign_guy
By posting a ban religious threads thread?
I doubt it....you must have posted in other areas aside from OT.iHeartCali
most of my posts come from the two places when you can (supposedly) have these sort of debates, namely here and SW. I pop in to PC games occasionally, but I guarantee 90% of my posts come from those two sources.

Yes. P0rn scuicide must happen. You'll be a kamkazi but everyone will consider you a god.Maybe they should just make a whole new board all dedicated to religious talk.Mutt45
There's a thread running on that right now.

Even if you ban religion specific threads, it would probably just mean increase in abortion, presidential race, illegal immigration, and socialism vs. capitalism, among other things, of which, share many of the similar general gripes you have with religion threads.

Blaspheming while saying you dislike religious threads? Nice.
Define blasphemy. Catholicism says you shouldn't take GOD's name in vain, not Jesus. And for those of you who still believe Christ was a deity, I strongly suggest you read Holy Blood, Holy Grail.

Jesus was God, what on earth are you talking about? He's one part of the trinity so taking his name in vain is equal to taking the father or the spirit's name in vain.

I'm pretty sure every theory in that book, as well as the da vinci code, has been thouroughly debunked.

thanks 123625, that means I won't need to read Holy Blood, Holy Grail now...
Oh, and you'll find the Da Vinci Code in the fiction section, so it's no surprise its not true!

Personally I think the da vinci code sounds more interesting, apparently it draws on what Holy blood, Holy grail was arguing and put it into story form. So it seems alot more entertaining. And if anyone can tell me, does Holy blood holy grail have a story?

I thouhgt you knew abut it since I thought you said it had all been de-bunked.
here's a synopsis:
The authors of Holy Blood, Holy Grail assert that their explorations into early history ultimately reveal that Jesus may not have died on the cross, but lived to marry and father children whose bloodline continues today. The authors' point here is not to compromise or to demean Jesus, but to offer another, more complete perspective of Jesus as God's incarnation in man. The power of this secret, which has been carefully guarded for hundreds of years, has sparked much controversy. For all the sensationalism and hoopla surrounding Holy Blood, Holy Grail and the alternate history that it outlines, the authors are careful to keep their perspective and sense of skepticism alive in its pages, explaining carefully and clearly how they came to draw such combustible conclusions. --Jodie Buller

Thank you for your contributing post. But I think this next piece of information is also important. The authors are accredited scholars, historians and archeologists. They initially set out to explore ruins and artifacts found at a very old church and, after a decade of research compiled most of the information included in HBHG.
