I caught my mom cheating...

So I came home really early today and I found out what my mom does in the morning. I come home and I hear noises, and then my mom comes out the room fast saying hi to me all sweaty and then...our cable guy comes out too out of breath. He's not just our cable guy, we've known him and his family for 11 years, he just happens to know how to hook up cable for people.

Anyway, I felt disgusted and didn't want to even talk about what I just saw so I took the car and left to my friend's house. I'm still here right now. I have always hated my mom because she is just a lazy drunk. I love my dad because he is hard-working, kind and always a funny guy, he doesn't deserve that. He works 18 hours a day, you think he wants to come home to know this? I really don't know how to tell him to be honest. I wish I never saw because I don't want to be the one to tell him. It was the most awkward moment of my life.

There is no heavy tv in her room or anything heavy at all. No it was obvious to me, and if you saw it then it would be obvious to you too.

I agree that you should tell your dad, but only if your mother won't. I doubt she will.

Sometimes parents try to make failed relationships work or cover them up just for the sake of the kids. He may already know. :?

I didn't say come home with a gun or knife. Obviously he'd have a heads up about it so it shouldn't be a total shock but rather a confirmation of what he has already been informed of.

I know you said you hate your mom, but if you can, talk to her first about it. Maybe she'll do the decent thing and tell your dad about it. Confront her first and let her know how you feel and let her have the opportunity to tell your dad. If she doesn't, then tell your dad.
