[QUOTE="Renegade_Fury"]I think it's waisted on them. People here who actually love the sport lose their chance to see a home game. Yeah it'll expand the game "someday," but frankly I don't care.Renegade_Fury

did you listen to KNBR today at all? did you hear all the rumors of holmgren coming in to be GM next year?

No, I never listen to the radio, but that rumor has been going on for a while now. I think Mortenson on ESPN talked about it too yesterday. I rather have Holmgren as coach though, but we'll see how Singletary does for the remaining 9 games.

i love Holmgren because hes WCO. I know he dosent want to coach anymore, but if he coaches hell probably hire a WCO coach. Martz is good and all, but this is a bill walsh team.

Yeah, the main reason to get him back is because Holmgren is Walsh's best desciple. Though, the only QB that we have that could probably run the WCO at this time would be Shaun Hill. Anyway, I don't think Martz will be here next year if the niners continue to clean house. There's a good chance Jed will want to return the niners to their roots since it looks like he's in charge now.

I agree, it does seem like hes in charge now. Lets just hope they dont move the team to LA, because ive been hearing that a lot lately. ive also heard some other things about the yorks and what they wanted to do with the team. Jed seems like hes actually into the team its self so maybe things wont change.

Shaun probably could, id be okay with that i suppose. im losing faith in JTO and im starting to see the big problem with Martz's system.

how amazing would it be with holmgren and gruden? I know thats not happening. Its also odd that the buccaneers are a lot more like the 49ers than the 49ers are.

I don't think the team is ever going to move to LA. Honestly, I think the Raiders will leave (again) for there far before the niners decide to. If Jed is at least somewhat more competent than his old man, the stadium in Santa Clara will get done.

I don't think Shaun Hill is the answer, but he showed at least last year that he can move the ball in the WCO. As for Just Turn Overs, he can just pack up and leave with Nolan and crew as far as I'm concerned. Last week was the first time I got so mad watching a niners game in a very long time. Most likely, the niners will probably draft a new QB in one of the first three rounds, but there is always Alex Smith. If he actually gets time to sit down and learn an offense from a real coach, maybe he can become salvagable.

I'm not too much a fan of Gruden. He can make a team consistently good, but he has yet to win a SB with a team he created from top to bottom. If Holmgren becomes GM, I'd personally prefer he'd pick a young WCO coordinator. If not, there's always Cowher and Schottenheimer to look at too. As far as the Bucs go, yeah I know what you mean. Garcia, Bryant just wtf...
