why not just drink less next time? and drink water.
drunk = good time
too drunk = bad time

These days hangovers don't even cross my mind. It's the DT's that scare me to death, sometimes almost literally.
haha dude, be ashamed, but not too ashamed. Just learn from it:
1. Alcohol can lead to a good time
2. Too much alcohol makes you look like an ass
3. Way too much alcohol leads to physical sickness :P
Hopefully the people at work arent uptight and will be able to look back and laugh with/at you and your experience  If they do give you a hard time, screw 'em
Don't stress it TC it happens to the best of us. The first time I got drunk I was puking my guts out
[QUOTE="Joshywaa"][QUOTE="Solid_Tango"] I swear i m NEVER GOING TO DRINK AGAIN MY LIFE. Mafiree
LOL,
I remember saying that to myself after my first hangover.
and my third, fourth,.................. LOL yah seriously, I remember once, I think it was last year, I said that after a crazy new years' party where I got completely hammered, only to find myself having a beer at supper the next day (obviously family gathering for january 1st...).. When I realized that I was like "Nice!"man you have GOT to learn your limit, that's one thing you definitely need to know when it comes to getting drunk. you were way past your limit, my friend. just take it slow next time. everyone has had nights like those, hell even i have, although it just resulted in me blacking the f*** out, didn't throw up on myself or anything like that.
just see how they treat you at work. if you think they're cracking jokes at your expense...well, it might just be better to quit and never go back. but if they're still kind and friendly to you, tell them sorry that they had to take care of you, but just know that you'll probably never be able to go out with any of the girls.
in hopes to see my crush i attended.Solid_TangoIt is in times like these that you don't want to have hope.
Hey OT, I just woke up from my first hang over EVER.
Story: There was at party at work, in the house of a co- woker, everyone was invited, in hopes to see my crush i attended.
I never got fully drunk in my life before, sure i had some tequila shots+ some bears, felt a bit nouseus but nothing serious. Thinking i could NEVER GET DRUNK( i seriously thought this) i drank a ****load of everything ( i thought doing this will make me less shy/awkard towards people) and omg i rememer well, i could barely walk, scare ****less i went to look for my phone to ring my mom so she could come and pick me up, i threw up big time i couldnt talk to my mom well, i couldnt remember the adress, i ended up sleeping in my own vomit or something. Then someone came and pick me up ( like from the floor) next thing i know i m outside puking and two females co-wokers are rubbing my back telling me evertything is going to be okay, i couldnt move, i couldnt talk i couldnt thinkg i was just throwing up :? i got carried around by other co wokers, from place to place i dont remember that part well. Next thing i know i m sleeping in a random sofa and my mom is there pulling me to the taxi.
OMG i couldnt walk right ( this NEVER HAPPEND TO ME BEFORE) i couldnt do anything, i was alone all my wokers had gone i dont know where.
I just woke up, i m ok now but i have to go to work in a few hours, I m soooooo ashame i think i m going to quit and never go back.
What to do? also how was the first time you got drunk?
Solid_Tango
1) Just a heads up..."I was so drunk" stories tend to be a lot betyter than "I was So hung-over" stories. Largely because the only reason to listyen to someone tell about how how drunk he got is to hear him tell some story about him doing some truly stupid ****. But hangover stories generally tend to be FAR less entertaining. Whereas "drunk stories" involve people fighting hookers and running from the cops, "hangover stories" tend to consist of people lying in bed, doing a lot of vomiting, and just generally trying to do as little as possible because it hurts to be alive. And honestly, what would people rather hear? A story about stupid and ballsy drunken antics, or a story about how I felt so freaking sick that I couldn't move and I wished that I was dead?
2) Not a good idea to get too ****-faced at company parties. I mean, you can actually get FIRED for acting like a drunken doofus at a company party. And there's really little else that's more embarassing than getting fired for **** that you did when you weren't even working. I imagine that it'd really suck to go out on a drinking binge on my day off, and then find out that I lost my job because I got stupid at a company party. Yes, it is a "party" and not "work". It's still not a good idea to get totally ****-faced.
3) Keep in mind that being hungover is not a good excuse to avoid showing up for work. Like, if you are habitually sick on Sunday morning, then people are going to asume that you are habitually getting drunk on Saturday night and then being too hung over to show up for work on Sunday. And that's on you. I'm not going to judge people who get drunk. Hell, I get drunk way too often as well. But if you drink enough that you feel like **** the next day, then you show up for work and fo your job even though you feel like ****.
Well hopefuly this thought you to not try binge drinking again. Otherwise, curing shyness and social awkwardness with booze... Well let's just say that I don't recommend doing that.Hey OT, I just woke up from my first hang over EVER.

OMG solid tango, are you still a teenager? As the people who is not new to Hangover.... I congratulate you on your first Holy CommunionNow you know not to try that again. Hopefully you've recovered now. No need to hide your face. You're not the first this has happened to. And besides, having a job and getting paid is nice, and unless you already have another job lined up, no sense quitting the one you have now. Just be subtle.
Not to worry, I think most of us have had bad experiences with drinking. After a few of those, you know exactly how much alcohol you can take and not make a fool out of yourself. Heck I've slept on park benches cause I couldn't get home anymore. I know people who have spent the night in the forrest cause they passed out there. If you vomit, thats a sign you should stop drinking pronto and get home. I wouldn't go on drinking after that, though I have done it a few times and it didn't do me well.
It's not really a big deal. Everyone has had a bad hangover at some point.

Not if they don't drink. :P

Whatever. Getting drunk and getting crazy is a part of life for many people. I threw up in front of a bunch of people I had just met a few weeks ago, and I was laughing at myself. They thought I was awesome after that. I was just making more room for liquor.
I'm so very proud of myself  ....
That's nothin'!
One time I was so drunk I went outside to take a leak. As I was taking a leak I started pukeing I was pukeing and peeing at the same time!

It happens.
Just joke around about it with your co-workers, not a huge deal really unless it becomes a regular thing.

LOL,
I remember saying that to myself after my first hangover.
I remember saying that to myself after many hangovers but I always end up getting drunk again
If you don't remember yourself dancing naked on women's tables then you're okay.iskeethuntersBut would you remember it?
The part where you feel like you're a rawkstar, the soul of the party, da bomb, the OG, MC hammer, BATMAN or whatever you call the "awesomest dude of the party". When under alcohol influence, you'll stop worrying of what will happen, what will people think, and you'll be yourself. No holding back. 100% pure awesomeness. I'm going to a club tonight so I'm ready! One reason why I never plan to start drinking, what's so fun about it anyway...

[QUOTE="Wilfred_Owen"]Come Monday or Tuesday, you'll be a legend in the office, like Clint Eastwood riding into the sunset. You'll be "HIM".Solid_TangoNo... i dont think i could look at people in the eye anymore.
Your co-workers are going to tease you. Count on that. Just go along with it.
dude me and my coworkers get hammered all the time together. We had to attend to a guy puking, slamming his head against the garage door, and stumbling everywhere while still keeping beerpong going. It's all in good fun, it could bring you and your coworkers closer together. The only thing that has happened out of all the parties that wasn't completely forgiven and laughed about is when a male coworker slapped a female coworker, but that's not something that really should be forgiven.
