No... i dont think i could look at people in the eye anymore.

I got drunk and offended a family member last night. Guess it was just one of those nights. The only time I throw up is when I drink something cheap and nasty.

Drinking from a random punch bowl is usually a bad idea.

I don't get bad hangovers.

Beer gives you the worst hangovers but I haven't drank much of it since I was 15. Now I just drink spirits like vodka and rum which get you drunk much faster and from my experience don't seem to give you much of a hangover.

Hangovers are one of many things that cause me to rarely want to drink. The worst hangover I ever had was from a surprise b-day party for my 18th b-day. I drank most of a milk jug that was full of 90 proof gin (can't drink clear liquor now because of this episode) in like 4 hours. Long story short, my brother saved my life because I passed out and was choking on my own vomit. That was a friday nitght. My hangover didn't even start going away until 6 p.m. that Sunday. From that point on, I have pretty much only drunk during holidays and stuff like that. The last time I drank was this past New Years Eve.

lol good luck sticking to that. I thought the same thing the first time I got smashed out of my mind.

IKR, I think we all have. Reading that from him made me lol hard. But I was only like 15 my first time being really trashed. I drank like a fish as a kid and stopped when I was in my early 20's. Funny, when it is finally legal for me, I decide to stop drinking heavy.

I m serious, i didnt like it, i dont like the taste of beer or alcohol.

How old are you? I am guessing still pretty young. Drinking is all about finding the right drink and knowing how much to drink before cutting yourself off. You will learn which drink that is for you and how much to drink as you age. I also don't like the taste of beer of liquor. I always drink mixed drinks that taste good. Lemon drops are good. Jagerbombs are good. Experiment and take it slow. If you are that worried about making an ass of yourself, then drink at home and test different drinks until you know what you want and what your limit is with that drink. then go party with friends again.

P.S. Alcohol dehydrates you and that's what causes the hangover. next time drink plenty of water along with your drinks. That will help you with not having a hangover. If you do get a hangover, things like gatorade and powerade help take it away. Even kid's pedialite (spelling?) is good.

It happens.

Just joke around about it with your co-workers, not a huge deal really unless it becomes a regular thing.

I swear i m NEVER GOING TO DRINK AGAIN MY LIFE.

LOL,

I remember saying that to myself after my first hangover.

I have to second this, but of course I have drank again haha

It happens to everyone eventually. They suck but best thing to do is just to wait it out and not think too much about it. Shame there's no way to really make the headache go away.

What's awful is when you wake up the next day and have to go study cause you have homework you have to worry about. Last semester I remember I'd wake up having the biggest hangovers at times and would have to go to tutoring with it. I hated it so much, and I think my tutor knew when I had a hangover since I barely spoke. :P

I understand completely. I hated going to work hungover, it was especially bad because I was a sales associate so my whole day was spent with customers and they all knew I was hungover.

I would have HATED that! It was hard enough spending two hours getting tutored about calculus with a hangover, I couldn't imagine spending time with costumers all day.

No, but they were very kind to me, one of them was pulling me over to dance before ( i was kind of the dj, just putting good songs for people to dance) even if she ever liked me a bit , i m soooooo ashame, soo very ashame of what i ve done ;(

Hey man, It happens. I've done that before, only when i started puking got everything out in one run. I was pretty drunk and couldn't walk well. But i got a ride home and passed out in my bed. Then when i woke up i felt great. It was wierd xD. But no one said anything bad to me about it. although they were mostly just friends. I'm sure they won't bug you about it, it would be pretty rude. If they do, just make up some awesome excuse xD.

Happened to me twice, I usually black out and cant remember about 7 hours of the night, this was a few years ago mind. At my school party I fell asleep on a table and woke up later in the party, next thing I know I am shouting abuse at some road workers. Next morning I wake up with sick in my jean pockets and have to get up to go into school, embarrasing to say the least!

Same! I work every other Sunday and I've gone in a fair few times hungover which isn't good because I work as a receptionist at a doctors so I have to give the impression that everything is a-ok. Those 8 hours seem to stretch on forever o_O

People, it's called a tall glass of water and two painkillers before sleep, and lots of water and some salty food the next day. No hungover. Ems, you should know better :P

Lol I said I've learnt - I now stay up until I'm sober and sleep off the hangover but sometimes that's difficult when you get in at 3am due to start work at 8am :P I heartily recommend Berocca - that ****'s expensive but it works wonders!!

I always eat before going to bed if I'm drunk. Whether it's a hamburger or something from my fridge, it does wonders. However, once I had a hangover that lasted until the next night when I got drunk again.

Yeah, about the eating part - you should get a proper meal before going drinking. Like iskeethunters said, it does wonders. But going drinking is all about preventing getting hung over, so stay hydrated (alcohol drains the body of fluids, because you pee a lot more when you've got alcohol in your blood) and get your salt balance..balanced. That's why french fries are awesome hangover food.

How is that any fun ? Really??? I don't get the amusement of being drunk or hungover. I find it incredibly annoying to be so exploitable and dizzy, and then waking up the next day only remembering the most embarrassing moments of the night before and having the worst headache ever.

Hey OT, I just woke up from my first hang over EVER.

Story: There was at party at work, in the house of a co- woker, everyone was invited, in hopes to see my crush i attended.

I never got fully drunk in my life before, sure i had some tequila shots+ some bears, felt a bit nouseus but nothing serious. Thinking i could NEVER GET DRUNK( i seriously thought this) i drank a ****load of everything ( i thought doing this will make me less shy/awkard towards people) and omg i rememer well, i could barely walk, scare ****less i went to look for my phone to ring my mom so she could come and pick me up, i threw up big time i couldnt talk to my mom well, i couldnt remember the adress, i ended up sleeping in my own vomit or something. Then someone came and pick me up ( like from the floor) next thing i know i m outside puking and two females co-wokers are rubbing my back telling me evertything is going to be okay, i couldnt move, i couldnt talk i couldnt thinkg i was just throwing up :? i got carried around by other co wokers, from place to place i dont remember that part well. Next thing i know i m sleeping in a random sofa and my mom is there pulling me to the taxi.

OMG i couldnt walk right ( this NEVER HAPPEND TO ME BEFORE) i couldnt do anything, i was alone all my wokers had gone i dont know where.

I just woke up, i m ok now but i have to go to work in a few hours, I m soooooo ashame i think i m going to quit and never go back.

What to do? also how was the first time you got drunk?

Solid_Tango

It's called... (wait for the magical word.) .... LIFE! xD
Everyone throw Up, nd Down and Left nd Right... Up nd Down... nd Left.... and... RIght.... uppp..... daoow..... Ohhh... maaan....

Never gotten drunk enough to have a hangover. But I have been between drunk and tipsy. It was awesome, everything was funnier and I just didn't care. If the right girl was there that night I knew I could've got some sex.

Ah, the joys of being stupidly drunk!

Hangovers suck but I prefer them to comedowns. Tango man up and go to work. No-one will judge you, everyone's been stupid-drunk at least once in their lives.

Drinking isn't fun its the what your drinking for, what your doing and who you are with... drinking alone because your dad died = depressing. Drinking to celebrate the New Year while on holiday in Sydney with your friends and girlfriend = Time of your life... even if you get completely wasted.

That doesn't sound too bad. Try urinating into the fireplace or grand piano of your parents-in-laws and going into self-imposed exile like the late great Gordon Bennett.

That would be horrible. I always loved talking to my boss whilst hungover pretending not to be, but the 8 hours feels like a double shift although its only one.

Plus you can totally get drunk and avoid a hangover if you remember to drink yourself silly on water at the end of the night.
