I present to you...the 5 most overrated movies of all time!

Anchorman I can understand, since pretty much anything Will Ferrell does is overrated. Napoleon Dynamite I can understand, because I get why some people don't like it, but I do think it's genius. The Pirates of the Carribbean series is a big budgetted special effects blockbuster franchise with an amazing cast, but there are issues with the story telling, so I can understand this one too. Twister... well Hell, I didn't even know anyone cared about the movie.

The only choice I take offense to is Fight Club. The movie in my opinion deserved its fame, because it was probably the most original film I saw at that time. It had just about everything. Amazing shots, brutality, humor, storytelling, drama, action, MEATLOAF! It's just a damned good all around movie.

I found Anchorman to be funny at parts. I don't usually see too many people praising it enough to qualify as overrated.

I can agree with Napoleon Dynamite:I didn't laugh a single time while I was watching it. But then again, I really had nothing to relate it to.

Fight Club was great. A little long, but great. It definitely didn't deserve to be on this list.

Pirates 2 and 3 weren't too great. However, The Curse of the Black Pearl made up for it.

As with Anchorman, Twister isn't popular enough to be considered overrated.

300 was very popular, but was in-fact pretty good. I had my doubts, but I was surprised.

I liked Lord of the Rings. But you will find, like always, the books are better.

Anime films? I can't think of any really popular anime films besides Studio Ghibli films, which many consider to be master pieces.

The new Transformers film? That hasn't been released?

The only overrated movie/movies on that list of yours TC is Pirates.

Anchorman is insanely funny and easily Will Ferrel's best movie.

Napolean Dynamite isn't for everyone, and thus has both a cult following and a cult HATE group, therefore it isn't overrated.

Fight Club is simply a great movie albeit with a confusing story. The movie is great though and definitely not overrated.

Twister, well no one gives a damn about Twister therefore it isn't overrated...

Why is it when everyone complains about Fight Club, one of their major complaints is that the majority of the movie doesn't have much fighting in it :roll: Seems kind of ilogical to diss a movie because of its name because its still the same movie. Disturbed_Dude

you go into it thinking it's going to be a mindless movie about beating people up. but it turns out to be brilliant. that's why i like it.
