im guessing that once they meet its starts a never ending transfer of energy ... im still not sure what do you guys think?HookedOnKiLLingA very very very large explosion.
isnt that how the universe was createdleonard88What if the universe had no beginning and is infinite and was always there. Didn't think of that?
The unstoppable force meets the immovable object and the universe shifts to the same speed unstoppable force, keeping the immovable force not moving as it has the reference point moving with itself, making it not moving. The unstoppable force is going the same speed as before which means it is still moving. They are moving, but not moving.brandontwb
uhhhh what..
[QUOTE="thriteenthmonke"]Religion ThreadsHookedOnKiLLing
what about religion?
Religion threads are what occur when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object.By the definition of either alone, one cannot exist if the other does.
Meaning, if you have a TRULY unstoppable force, then you cannot have an immovable object. Because if its immovable, then the unstoppable force isn't unstoppable, is it? And vice versa.
The existance of one destroys the possibility/definition of the other.
And we currently live in a reality with an irristable force: the ever expanding universe.
If there was ever such a thing as an unstoppable force, then it's impossible to have an immovable object if they're in the same universe. So it's impossible and cannot be answered.the_foreign_guyYeah, they can. Look at my answer. There is no true measure of mobility- only reference points.

You people should read "A Brief History of Time" by Stephan Hawking. It's a nice place to start if you're actually interested in these types of questions.
[QUOTE="brandontwb"][QUOTE="leonard88"] yet how could something be there without a beginning leonard88How could something have a beginning if there was nothing? the unstoppable force +immovable object=universeCan you explain how the objects came into existence in the first place? That's almost as stupid as the big bang theory.

hmm i willIt's an impossible situation because the universe does not deal in such absolutes. Basically, there is no such thing as either.allnamestakenYeah, you're right. But my answer still makes sense if they did exist!

how did that beginning start then without something before it to create it?
The unstoppable force meets the immovable object and they stay together. The universe shifts to the same speed as the unstoppable moving object. The unstoppable force has not changed speed to the observer; it is still moving. The immovable force is staying in the same position because the universe, it's reference point is going the same speed, and keeping the immovable object in the same position. They are moving, but not moving. Problem solved.brandontwb
I'm missing the funny here.By the definition of either alone, one cannot exist if the other does.

The expansion of space-time is not a force! It is a property of our universe.
