I wasn't expecting a conclusion, were you? I was just hoping I'd get a few folks to share their thoughts, instead I got a group of junior high schoolers ganging up on me trying to make me feel unwanted. Not what I expected. Why are kids causing trouble online? Don't teenagers go TP'ing people's houses anymore? Or making dry ice bombs? Or streaking? So God knew that we were going to screw up when He made us, your right. So should he have not given us free will? God doesn't live in this world, so he is not part of our 'time', he is not anchored to his knowlege of our future on Earth. In the next paragraph your puting yourself in God's shoes - assuming that you can rationalize the train of though of a Being that created everything, and knows everything that has, and was gone on. After that you say religion should be done away with: heres you logic: Since: God doesn't exist, and was though up by man. Therefore: religion must be done away with ... and you are ABSOLUTLY right! If God doesn't exist then religion is a bunch of silly fantasys. But your arguments against God's existance aren't very convincing. The first part of your post is an unsucessful atempt at refuting God, and the second part depends on the idea that God is a lie.alphamale1989

The idea that free will and determinism are antitheses results from our living a temporal existence. If we agree that God isn't bound by time, then God's omniscience and omnipotence are no longer contradictory. Of course, this could all be BS if your second theory stands - that we're desperate to ascribe goodness to God because it's the only good reason for having faith in the first place, which I'd agree with.jimmyjammer69
