I love the U.S but me fighting naw
I'm the kid who going to be hiding under a rock pissing his pants.
Malaysia very likely wouldn't enter the war and even if it did, its ability to contribute is pretty crap. Stack that on top of the fact that I'm about two years from being able to actually join the military, and that there's no way in hell the North Koreans can last that long in a direct military conflict.
[QUOTE="SPBoss"][QUOTE="PSP107"]Joining the army is stupid. why should i die for the man?PSP107Well said, all global conflicts should be resolved by putting the highest powers in a boxing ring, men don't need to die Bush vs Bin Laden i wanted to see back in 2001. Tony Blair could've been his corner man.
No, I'd want to defend America... and like European countries like Britain. I don't care about South Korea or North Korea.
There are only a few instances in which I would re-enlist: One of our allies being invaded, we send troops to Mexico, and if we get attacked on the scale of 9/11 again.

Kind of already signed up... Kind of in the USAF right now. Wonder if deploying to Korea will be more likely now. :o
[QUOTE="clayron"]Why would I join the military to fight in a war involving two countries I've never even been to? That makes no sense.LonelynightI'm sure most soldiers in WW2 never been to Europe or Asia either. Did you just compare North Korea attacking South Korea to Japan bombing Pearl Harbor (A part of the U.S.), thus boldly and explicitly declaring an act of war on our country? Really?

They were drafted (not all of them, but still quite a bit of them).
Membership in the US military has been on a voluntary basis since the end of the Vietnam War.
