If women demand to be equal as men, why do they get special treatment?

Because they want the best of both worlds. A lot of these women and girls don't realize that the societal rules of "don't hit a girl" and "always pay for a woman's meal when dating" are directly connected to abandoned ones such as "don't let women vote". It used to be that women were seen as too weak to fend for themselves and were so fragile that they had to be shielded from life's cruelties (if that sounds familiar, its also the way in which children are viewed in western society) which is why today we still have those archaic practices such as holding a door open for a woman. Its also why back in the day women weren't allowed to vote.

To be fair though, the hardcore feminists usually hate getting the special treatments such as having a door held open for them because they recognize the mentality behind those acts.

The next time a woman expects me to pay for her movie ticket, I'm going to look at her with disgust and say "and after all 'whats her face' did, you have the odacity to expect me to pay. YOU SUCK! Well, your friend encountered a stupid person. Like men, women are also frequently stupid people. That's never happened to me but if it ever does I will point out to the lady that I hold the door for anybody that's behind me but the next time I see her, I'll gladly let it hit her in the face.

i have no problems with calling women equals... except physically. i find it absurd that when working at any job, if there is a heavy box to lift, a man is asked to do it, but then a woman will be given the same pay. if I am asked to do things a woman physically cannot do, I should make more money. women are not completely equal when you factor in anything to do with physical strength, and anyone who claims so is just plain wrongOneWingedAngeI

Where did you get the grade/college statistics? Please cite. Action stars beating up mean, dirty men? You're talking about movies, acting- that's choreography. You'd be more accurate to say they're better dancers. As for the rest of your assinine bias post, I won't even dignify it with a reply. My best guess is that you're an overweight female, probably not pleasing on the eyes, that has been rejected many times by men. Well, guess what honey? Not popular? Who has ever argued against that? The standard is equal professional treatment for equal ability not whether one gender is more worthy for being able to bench press more.

And it is true that women are starting to dominate college campuses, but it's because of this culture of Masochism that is being preached to our kids. THey don't want people to think that men and women are even different, even though they clearly are. What needs to be taught is that men and women are different. They're not better or worse than eachother, but they ARE different. Instead young boys are being stereotyped and ridiculed, while simultaneously being accused of being the villains of human history.

Since when were young white guys being accused of being villains? If anything their failures are mostly their own fault. Kids these days with drugs and the music, and the not thinking about anyone else.

Regardless of the facts, the message of self-hate is still getting across. Of course it's a guy's own fault if he flunks out of school because he never showed up, but the reason this is becoming so common is because nobody has any faith in them, and they have no reason to believe that they can change the world. The traces of this attitude are everywhere. Look at television. The woman is smarter than the man, look at shows like the simpsons and family guy, and heck even the Cosby show, here young Theo is always coming up with hopeless schemes that he never thinks through. It seems innocent enough, but it is all contributing to this culture. It's like affirmative action. Because women and minorities have suffered in the past, the majority NOW, who never perpetrated these things, have to pay them back tenfold to get them back on track.

During slavery and before the civil rights era, there were often instances where a black person would be accused to commiting a crime against a white person. If the suspect was on the run and not in police custory, white mobs would go out and lynch a black person. It didn't matter which black person. The way they saw it, a black person committed a crime, so a black person was killed. Justice had been done. This same mentality is being used in our culture today, even if it isn't about physical violence.

Agreed. Just watch any modern sit-com. The males almost always get portrayed as stupid and inferior to the female counterpart. Men are always portrayed as the "bad guy" in today's society. Try getting custody of you're kids if you want to divorce. Not going to happen. The woman always gets them. It's ridiculous.
