Believe it or not technicall some don't. In the UK that's not granted as a freedom. Heck, technicall there ARE NO freedoms in the UK, based off their laws.

weird, last time I looked we had freedon, and freedom of speech, odd huh. I mean we have tv shows that show Dick Cheney eating the heads off chickens and drinking its blood.
Why would anyone not choose Europe?creepy_mike
Hmm, let me think.
1. Very Rainy; poor weather.
2. Too close to the Mid-East.
3. Too cramped
4. Gas prices = way too much
5. Because of those gas prices, POS FWD hatchback (fuel efficient) cars are all most people drive.
The real question is: Why would anyone not choose the States?
US.
I'm European (Swedish & Danish), currently living in Australia. Anglo-Australians are just like Europeans, i.e. not that interesting, but I'm loving how multicultural Australia is. Europe has got a lot of immigrants, but they're not really part of society in the same way as in Australia; Europe is far more ghettoised.
The US seems like it would be the same as Australia in this aspect, but at a larger scale and with even more variety and options. Never been to the US, though, but I'm sure I'd be able to find a place to enjoy.

Too close to mid east? Thats just general american arrogance, that is not a problem. If terrorists want to attack, it wont matter where you are geographicly and they do attack.
Gas Prices, cant argue there I suppose
Too cramped? Its not cramped at all, its true there are alot of immagrants and EU is far more ghettoised, but its better than americas, rich white areas and poor black/hispanic areas totally cut off from eachother, like its discrimination.
The states is the most hated place on the planet, thats why most wouldent choose the states, atleast we still have a little culture over on our side too.

We were not the ones who had two buildings destryod by some piissed of muzlims. So close to the Mid-East.
And for gass, we are way ahead in research, we dont look to the past but to the future!
Yeah al US citizens come live in Europe!0757691That way we can mess up the economy of another area :?
I still pick US.
[QUOTE="sonicare"][QUOTE="creepy_mike"]Why would anyone not choose Europe?0757691
Because not everyone in the world is european.
Yeah we know, it says you could be... With that attidu... shees!
I've been forbidden to enter Europe. Something about me being "the Jackal".
I prefer the us metric system...you know, ounces, quarts, gallons, etc. schoeffmaster
LOL - it's an intellectual excercise just to use it.

I prefer ounces than grams...I like cooking with the US metric system :)...America, Canada, most of Europe, (Including England.) Australia, and New Zealand are all great places to live, so would Isreal if they weren't constantly being harrased by barbarians.
But if I had a choice, I'd neither live in America OR Europe, but.... THE UNITED STATES OF CANADA!!!!!
