I wouldn't have much choice; I'm not one to say no to the authorities anyway. I'm mentally fit for most things, but physically I'd be pretty useless in a battle. Maybe some technical role would be more suitable. I have no moral objection to the concept of war, but I'd not feel too happy fighting in one that couldn't be justified.

It depends on what the war is for.

I was involved in a vicious car accident 5 months ago that caused a concussion, 4 herniated discs and a lumbar sprain. It took me 2 weeks to learn how to walk again and about 2 months in order to drive again.

That being said if I was drafted, I could go in what ever shape or form, but I would do more harm than good for my country.

[QUOTE="racer8dan"]

[QUOTE="XD4NTESINF3RNOX"]This is sad so many people not willing to defend their country...it really irks me for some reason. XD4NTESINF3RNOX

Youv'e been brainwashed into thinking that every "war" is defending our freedom.

No I haven't...This is about a draft I would join it so I wouldn't be labeled as a coward that's all

I'd rather stand for my beliefs and be called a coward, than go and betray my beliefs and morals and be called "brave". I think it takes more bravery to stand against authority for your own beliefs than it does to simply say "Okay....whatever you say!"

Sure, but I'd probably be more useful on the tech side of things than on the front lines.

I'm against conscription, but I would serve if conscripted as long as I felt that there was a legitimate threat to my nation or to our allies. Even if the war was not something I felt was a just war, I would have a hard time running away from conscription when friends, family and fellow countrymen were being shipped off to war to fight. It just wouldn't feel right to get off from serving when everyone else is being forced to, I wouldn't want some kid to die in my place. That being said, I would fight conscription through political means, and attempt to get it revoked, no one should be forced to serve and potentially die for their country.

It's hard to tell, but I/my close-people would have to be in some kind of direct danger.
