What are you thoughts about illegal immigrants in your country?

The founders of America were immigrants, so they should be able to come in; and I live in a heavily Hispanic area. I don't mind, if our country is about freedoms and rights, then we should give those freedoms and rights to as many people as we can.Lord__Darkstorn

...they should be booted and made to come in the country legally....end of story.....I'm second generation myself..but my grandparents had enough respect for this country to come here and earn citizenship......

My close friend's family had to wait 15 years to gain admittance into the U.S. And they were relatively wealthy, too.

European countries have open borders to other countries within the Union. Sure we Brits have to pay massive subsidies to Belgian farmers but that's besides the point, the EU isn't collapsing.

They should be deported and enter america legally. They are hurting our economy and crime rate risen around the country from this on going problem. I can not understand why the US government just enforce the law and we wouldn't be having this on going problem.ScaredWarrior

Well as I said so long as they're working then they are providing for the economy, they paid for that beer, adding to the overall economy, you should be able to find a job with out having to learn spanish.

1. No they are hurting the economy. When someone looses their job to someone who is willing to work for below minimum wage, the only one who wins are the ones who already have the money.

Just means legal immigration is a lot easier. I do think open borders could work, if there were fewer people in the world...

EDIT: Sorry? Apples with 747s? Well, I live in Wimbledon and there seem to be plenty of French apples that have just bobbed over the Channel. They contribute to the economy.
