I'd be no help to you mate. I am 19 and have never had a girlfriend. I've been hurt so many times I've almost given up on finding anyone. Honestly i do not know what girls want. Most of the time they are self-centered *****es who use you and then toss you aside, at least from my experiences

It has actually been studied as to why guys that are poor, stupid, and asses get a lot of women. It comes down to that the majority of women want to sleep with the "bad boy". After they have gotten it out of their system, they want the "good boy" to raise any children they might have had. So just wait until you are in your 30-40s, you will be a very popular man. I hope you like stretch marks, though :).

Now, before people jump on this, I am only going off statistics (the majority of women say that they are most attracted to "bad boys" in studies, until a certain age is reached, at which point it starts to shift towards "financially stable boys").

Because of this concept, I sort of developed a pseudo-jerk attitude. I seem like a cocky jerk at face value, but when at a personal level act as I actually am, which is a good guy. I have to say, it works. They are initially drawn to the cocky, overconfident jerk side (which works a lot better than being myself...infinitely better), and then they fall in love with the good person I actually am. I think women want a good guy, I just don't think theyknowthat they want it.

it depends on the girl..I'm not very confident at all and my girlfriend loves me the way i'am. She didn't want the typical a-hole cocky guy, so she picked me over this guy who was doing well for himself but didnt care about her feelings. It just really depends on the girl.

Maybe those people were lying to you and you're actually hideously ugly. Just sayin'.

The way you talk to them I guess, gotta flirt and try to close. And dont take too long otherwise your in the friends zone. Try to get with them within a week

I must say, some of the responses in this thread are pretty harsh. What is so wrong with the TC recognizing what he has? Didn't realize that equals being a douche bag or cocky or whatever else names he's been called in this thread. Sajedene

Ironically if he had that level of douchery in his real life, he would get more women. Women find cockiness, in my experience, rather charming (still can't figure out why...but meh, it works). You have to be able to back it up, however.

There is a difference between confidence and douchery. However, girls actually like a little cockiness (douchery). They really do pick up on that. Confidence I see as an undescribed aura. You can tell people who are confident without them actually telling you. But a tamed level of cockiness goes a long ways. Too much...well...too much of anything is bad.

I think people that get cocky are douches, but maybe that's a personal opinion. I do know I act cocky/douchey around new people, especially women, and people pick up on that really fast and it helps out my perception. I don't know why, it reminds me of the primative days of pounding our chests. I guess some primal dick measuring we can't shake from our genes.
