I am 6' 1" and I weigh 110lbs... yeah im a "little" underweight here. anybody know of any good tips so that I could gain some weight fast? I have some of that nasty GNC stuff but I had to stop drinking it cause it was damn nasty. I want to be about 140lbs by June of next year. damn you need to read the responses on here too haha, im thinking of eating alot of starch but I dont want high cholesterold and then have a **** heart attack :O
Don't bother with fatty foods. Your high metabolism will rip fat to shreads, and you'll only endanger upping your cholesterol. Instead, eat high-protein foods, even drink protein shakes on a regular basis, and load yourself up with grains.JustPlainLucasHigh fat foods dont matter. Even if he burns 2500 calories a day, if he eats something like 3000 or 3500, he should be able to put on 500 calories a day which should gain you about a pound a week.

I don't drink shakes (but I know how important they are as weight gainers), so I can't recommend a brand. But yeah, grains are anything like oatmeal, breads, pastas, etc.
Alright Ill start drinking a tall glass of the shake a day with milk and eat alot of bread. Do you know of any kind of cheap food that comes in like a can or something that can be stored easliy and made fast that is high in protein? I dont really have alot of time to make speghetti everyday (or have the cash haha)

and it says I burn about 1900 calories a day. So should I try to eat about a thousand more caloreis a day than that? IE like 3000 a day?
I looked at that nasty GNC stuff that I have and it says that 3 rounded scoops gives me roughly about 2200 calories a glass. So maybe if I drink 2 cups of that a day and eat alot of bread and oatmeal (with alot of butter!) a day I should be fine :) Sorry for all the questions but is Ramen noodles fattening like pasta? Thats pretty cheap and it tastes darn good raw

My dad had a huge problem with skinniness before I was born. My mom put him on an egg nog diet, and he beefed up in no time. Drink crap loads of egg nog, you'll definately start gaining weight fast.

Not really. Get some whole wheat spagetti. I forget the brand I buy, but it only takes 4 minute for Al Dente and has a tonne of calories and fiber. Ramen had a good amount calories but it also has a lot of crap in it. Although I like them, a diet based off of them in unwise, unless you are an undergrad

wtf haha, speaking of skin, the other day the screen door slammed on the heel of my foot and i turned aroiund and hit it as hard as I could and it ripped a whole bunch of my skin off the kunckle above my pinky. the skin is still stuck in the dent in the screen-yummy haha

That stuff is awesome if you know how to make it right. What flavor do you have? I can give you the recipe I use. Hopefully, you have something along the lines of strawberry or vanilla. I used that stuff a lot for wrestling and workouts.
Cut off on of your limbs. The weight from that limb will have to go to the rest of your body, that's like conservation of mass or something, so then you'll weigh the same, but with less body parts, you'll seem more solid.quiglythegreat:lol:

How about instead of eating crap, you go work out and gain some muscle. I think you can gain 30 pounds of muscle in 6 months, not to mention you will be ripped beyond belife.plague32390A lot of adolescents basically cannot gain more muscle mass, especially if they don't get enough sleep.

No, it's not fattening powder. People trying to bulk up use it. It's got tons of vitamins, minerals, caloriesand protein. Works great to help build muscle while working out or toreplace ameal with(what a lot of wrestlers sometimes do).

I am finding it hard to believe you because you say you lose about 1k calories a day...which means your doing some kind of physical activity... You would probably be gaining some kind of muscle there, and muscle is a lot heavier than fat...another reason I don't believe you is because my cousi is 95 lbs, and he is 5 '3 and he has to go get treatments every month since he is way too underweight...you can see his ribs...but that is due to an internal problem.
To believe you are almost a full foot taller than my cousin, and only weigh around 15 lbs more, is just crazy.
