As of now, it's at 93% based on 30 reviews. Let's hope it stays above 90!

I'll also note that right now, it has the same percentage and rating (7.6) as the first film, only with far less reviews.

Same here, I may read what they have to say, but I don't base my going to see or not based on things like this.

That being said, Can't wait for this movie! :D I'm really looking forward to how they will tie in things for the next Avengers movie!

I think Super 8 had like a 91% with around the same number of reviews when it first came out, and now it's at an 82% based on over 250. I could be wrong but there are always exceptions.

Super 8 was a phenomenal movie, it is definitely a top contender on my favorites movie list.

I thought Super 8 was a boring predictable movie. But I never really saw any movies that it was making a homage to.

I'm not trusting 1st day fanboys. I don't mean that the movie is bad. Most times first impression goers tend to over-express their feelings about the movie. I remember guys saying that Ep III was the best star wars movie. Dunno in here.
