Me and my friends think so and we're all disgusted at those who support something so terrible for your health and image. I wanna know if there's anyone who doesn't smoke pot that supports legalization for some reason or if it's true that everyone who supports it are just stoners who want to get high without getting busted.laundryslave"Something so terrible for your health an image" But i guess normal cigarettes are fine, right? And no, i don't smoke it, but find that normal, regulated cigarettes cause far more harm than "pot"

*shakes your hand* Hi, pleased to meet you :P That said, it is in no way a huge priority to me, aside from me slavering over added tax revenue from taxing it.I have never meet a supporter that didn't already do it but I know there are some that don't.

And no, i don't smoke it, but find that normal, regulated cigarettes cause far more harm than "pot" The only reason smoking is allowed is because people got addicted to it long before its shortfalls were discovered. Honestly, do you think if the first cigarette was made NOW, and then all the health problems were shown to the government, that he would let cigarettes be sold on the market? I most certainly wouldn't.
Honestly, anyone who thinks that smoking pot ruins your image or is any worse for you that car fumes or tobacco is way too into those stupid commercials
And I would rather associate with someone who needs that than hang out with people who cant stop texting, saying "like", talking about religon, talking about anti religon, or emo dorks.
Legalize it, tax it, end the resession.
once in a rare wile i do but the reason why i want it legal is because it can dumb down the cartels and also stuff wont get mixed in it. i know from experiance i hit a joint and was told afterwards it was laced with cocain......

Penn Jillette (of Penn & Teller) adamantly supports legalization of all drugs and has never even taken a sip of alcohol in his life... and he brags about it.
[QUOTE="Tazzmission187"]You should ask questions before smoking if you don't know what went in it. i was 15 man. all of us were. im saying if the government decides to do it and keeps it pure weed with no bs than yeah ill support it. i.m.v people say that weed is a gatewat drug i particialy agree only if it was spiked with something. real drugs is what you have to do by adding stuff to it. for instance meth and cocaine alot of household substances are used. i havent heard a person oding on marijuana and plus in order to buy it legaly you have to be 21 according to californiaonce in a rare wile i do but the reason why i want it legal is because it can dumb down the cartels and also stuff wont get mixed in it. i know from experiance i hit a joint and was told afterwards it was laced with cocain......

First, there is nothing terrible about marijuana consumption so long as, with other things, it is done in moderation. I see no problem with a construction worker coming home from a 10 hour shift, lighting up a fresh bowl, and relaxing and soothing his minor aches and paines.
As for your question, no...I do not smoke pot and yes, I do support legalization. There are thousands of reasons to legalize marijuana and, as far as I am concerned, no good reasons to keep it illegal.
Here are some reaons why it should be legalized:
-Like alcohol and tobacco, it can be consumed in moderation and give the users a pleasant feeling you cant obtain from anything else
-Hemp, gained from the plant material of plants, is extremely useful and versatile.
-Marijuana can be consumed in smokeless form, canceling out any negative effects
-Pain relief
-Helps with some mental and social disorders
-Short duration...at least when I used to smoke, I got high, and the high was gone in a couple hours.
-You cant overdose on marijuana...well, sort of...you pretty much just fall asleep or eat too much lol
-Non-addictive
Here are some reasons why it can be bad (if consumed in excess):
-Slows down reaction speeds (though alcohol does this and its legal, so this is a BS argument)
-Makes some users paranoid (I fell victim to this and its one reason why I eventually quit; with that said, its not really a negative from a legal standpoint)
-Makes you forgetful and stupid (Ive seen this happen to friends, but it can be quickly overcome.
I just fail to see any logical reason marijuana should remain illegal while there are so many worse things out there (alcohol, tobacco, fast food) that are legal. "Why fast food?" you ask? Because I can smoke pot for 50 years and suffer no negative consequences, yet if I eat fast food for 50 years it will kill me.
dude your either very very unlucky, lying, or just think you smoked cocain becuaseyou had a weird experience. people dont lace marijuana mainly because its bad for business, no one wants to buy from the same dealerwho laced there product with a harder drug Its mainly bad for business because no dealer is going to lace a 30$ bag of weed with 60$ of cocaine, but the user could be telling the truth but if he is he is dumb for smoking an unknown substance with someone he did not know....[QUOTE="Tazzmission187"]

usually its the roller of the joint that is to blame. This happened to me once and it was an interesting experience. I dont think Ive ever been so hyper in all my life lol
In the end, though, you got no one to blame but yourself because if you take a joint from a friend and dont ask or assume its laced thats your own fault. Lesson? Always bring your own or know the company you keep :)
On that note, I just want to say that many of you anti-legalization folks would truly be shocked at how many people, and how successful they are, smoke pot. I know personally of three doctors, two realtors, an insurance adjuster, numerous engineers at successful companies that build and design bridges and stuff people depend on every day...and they all smoke pot.
You could say that behind every hard working american there is a nice bag of grass lol

I can't stand people that are so against marijuana and have never smoked it. Though I haven't smoked in over a year, I used to and found it very therapuedic. This is the main reason I am for legalization. This is a NATURAL drug that can actually do people some good. Ignorance and government lies have demonized marijuana and it's users. I've stated this before; When big government figures out how to control and regulate marijuana so they can suck all the cash possible from it, it will be legalized.
Don't oppose something that you've never had the courage to try yourself, it makes you look stupid.

It's funny to hear how many people say how bad it is for your health... when really, it isn't.
But I support legalization. On and off smoker. So many people do it though. Every job I've had.. which has been 5 since 16. I have smoked with everyone but 1 or 2 employees.
I'm disgusted it's considered bad and illegal.
