Is Family Guy the worst show to be made ever?

I just think it's the worst. The jokes are unoriginal and lame, the premise is stale, and the flashbacks are just ridiculous. Besides Seth just spoonfeeds you his liberal agenda through his characters, especially Brian. The first 3 seasons were good, but after that, it's probably the worst show to be made...ever. What do you think?

I remember when it used to make me laugh, not now though. I think its gone on far longer than it should have... as most things do.

I think the show is past due for it to end.

No, the worst show ever made was Lost. The characters were dull and undeveloped, the plot was mediocre at best, and the ending did nothing but spit in the face of the already mucus covered fans.

I'd have to say Jersey Shore. At least Family Guy has a basic storyline

If one thinks that Family Guy is the worst show ever, then they quite evidently have not experienced much television. There is much worse than Family Guy.

Jersey Shore comes to mind, and there are still worse shows than that.

Was good until It's A Trap! came out. As a huge fan of the Star Wars parody, it felt like they just gave up. Since then, the regular show has been pretty bad. Granted, there's been an episode or moment here and there that has been pretty funny, but I agree that Seth is just getting too political with some of the episodes and that the show as a whole has gone down a lot. Yet, I doubt Fox is willing to cancel it for a third time for a fear of having to renew it due to fan demand.

bad? yes. worst? no way. I bet there are thousands of shows that didn't make one full season that are much worse.

I don't think it's the worst show ever made, but at the same time I agree that it's gone downhill.

Not even close I've watched far worse. Fam Guy isn't that bad but, it is time for the show to call quits.

I love Family Guy. It keeps make me laugh, even if i had seen the episodes before.

It was good awhile back. It's definitely not the worst show ever made though.

I used to watch it but it got pretty lame after a couple more episodes, especially the new ones.

If you are looking for the worst though, nothing beats JERSEY SHORE!

I'm not a huge fan. I wouldn't go so far to say it's the worst ever made, not even close. Every now and then I like to get a Family Guy fix in.

no, not in my opinion. some of the jokes are funny as hell to me.

only two things have ever caused me to not like the show.

1. That long episode with Stewie and Brian in the vault at the bank. One of the worst works of television comedies i have ever seen. just painful and awful to watch, not funny at all.

2. Whenever Brian gets on his liberal soap box. Ok, i'd call myself a liberal as well, but to me Brian on the soap box is Seth McFarlene - the creater - now preaching the audience.

and a lot of people don't like preachers.

cuz you know... they're all preachy like.

Family guy is really meh now. I started to prefer Americain Dad.
