Judge denies parents naming of baby.

Judge blocks name

Judge blocked parents form naming their child what they wanted, saying it was unfair to the child. Thoughts?

I think that people that give their kids stupid names shouldn't be able to reproduce in the first place. I thought the judge was preventing the parents from giving their child a somewhat normal name, but "4Real"? I'm siding with the court on this one.

Agree. I have a family member that works in a hospital and you wouldn't believe the names kids are given.They would result in a moderation if used here, in fact.

If they did would his shortened name be 4, and if it is he couldn't walk around any golf courses, someone would yell fore, and while people were ducking he would be looking around going what! huh! smack!!skizz624

I personally don't like that name but i do like the idea of using numbers in names. There's too many people using the same name everyday it should be about time to bring something new to the thought process and creativeness of naming ones child and makes it more modern. 8)

I'm all for originality in naming children. There way too many Tom, Dick and Harrys, and Julie, Susan and Jennifers. However, I draw the line when they name their children after slang, especially when it starts with a numeral.JustPlainLucas

Same here. There are plenty of ACTUAL names that sound and look cool, like Tavarius, Paquita and Xavier. These are real names, look them up.

Good for the judge, those parents have issues, they obviuously didnt even take intoconsideration how the child would feel about having a name like that, I know if that were my name I would of had it changed as soon as I was old enough to realize it is an atrocious name.

But that's actually a name. Zelda Fitzgerald, the Zelda from Sabrina the Teenage Witch, and others...

I can only imagine after the 1000th time a person asked him "Are you for real?" trying to be clever, he would most likely go on a killing spree.
