Okay, sorry to our friends outside the US, but I'm looking for the lamest, dumbest, wussiest team names - can be college or pro.

My first nomination is the Orlando Magic - SO lame.

I agree about the Houston Texans.

The LA Lakers used to be in Minnesota, where there are a lot of lakes, and it was the Minnesota Lakers, which made more sense, but the team moved and kept the name.

They are "my Browns" too ( I live in Cleveland, but I barely ever root for them). I still wish they had a good name though.

I cant think of any that havent been mentioned already, but I do know that the Washington Redskins remain to be the only team to have such a politically incorrect name/logo. Seriously though, im surprised its lasted this long...
